We're in the process of recording some changes for the release notes, and thought we'd share!

Some of these assets you've already seen screenshots of, but not in action.

Getting the tech that carves holes in assets (pillory in this case) proved to be somewhat of a PITA to get working with VR, but we believe we have something that works now. :)

Dogson is wrapping up texturing work on the Dragoness. (The seam between body and wings proved to be very tricky to eliminate, so we're trying different methods.) Other than that, the only thing that remains for us is to add some ambiance to the fantasy level (the 5.4 engine upgrade is basically complete). Then we're ready to start testing. At the same time we'll start recording videos for promotional stuff.

It's not far now.

They are looking great, can't wait to see them in action. I do wonder though, the stuff here that locks the neck does it keep the neck from moving n all?

I'm gonna totally use the leg spacer as a handcuffs

dethkruzer

so are the leg spacers something that can be snapped on to a model when spawned in, or are they just parented in the above exhibition. Also, will the pillory and X be parentable to?

yiffalicious

Not snapped, just parenting. Each side of the leg spacer is a separate, movable object. You can parent the shackles, but the pillory you cannot parent. Not sure what that would mean? It's in world space, as should the character's anchors be when used together with the pillory. We have however added a new slider called "Force orientation", that is part of the new spine solver. So in the case of the pillory, it would be good to place the spine anchor inside the pillory hole, so the neck will always target its location.

yeah, I was mostly thinking about whether or not you will be able to force the limbs put through the pillory to stay put even if an external force were applied, but it sounds like that's been sorted.
