The cloud is coming! (Patreon)

Super quick update - the cloud is coming along, and I think you will like it a lot!

Most of the basic features are implemented, including character uploading, downloading, voting and commenting, but also a suggestion system. More features will be rolled out over time, but it's a good start!

We're gonna need another week to finalize and test things, but we should have a build out for you sometime next week.

Here are some captures I did some days ago on our private dev channel.

NOTE! The server response is extra slow because I'm running the server locally, but with the database through cloud proxy. So each time the server makes a query, it has to contact google, wait for response, handle it, and then make next query. This makes things MUCH slower than when deployed.

So keep that in mind! Things will be much faster in the cloud!

We're implementing a e621 type browsing. SUPER silly with only 1 character, but still goes to show the date and filtering functions.
