Absolutely yes. This is the one that I wanted you to listen to. And I want better to watch it for another like hour but I cannot wait. 🤗🤗🤗. Ok im ready. Let's get into it. See now, he first rap verse is nice but that second one with the lazy rap is...whoooo boy 🤤. It was super clever when I realized what they were doing with the title called vay. Like that's ridiculously smart. YES HAN-C!! It does give lemon vibes. So much! Yes i love the look far away like a shining star part as well. Oh i love the term refrain. And i love refrains in songs. Lol of course it has SKZ vibes.. binnie helped with the track. I definitely thought she was saying itzy. You know I haven't really listened to a lot of itzy's music, but I wonder if they normally do the play on words or if it's just so prevalent in this song because Changbin helped with this song and we know how he loves his word play.

Yayy thank you!! So changbin actually gave them this song because chaeryeong asked for it haha. And chae said that when changbin was directing them, it was so cringey because he was so kind about it😂 There is a recording behind but you can just check it on your own time maybe. Chaeryuong asked Changbin to write a song for them, and he gifted them with VAY. Lyrics, song and produced by Spearb/Changbin. His feature rap I have it on loop. There is and 1 hour You Tube of the production of VAY. Changbin such a talented producer. He's very encouraging and praising the ITZY's. The environment Changbin's creating is just the one we find with SKZs.

i was waiting for this hehe. thank you for explaining the lyrics more clearly once again!! :)) d'some you're spot on with your interpretation of the word vay. eventhough itzy's come far, they're not even halfway yet! when i first heard about this song i thought it would be a song that changbin wrote and later thought that it would fit itzy vocally and concept vise, so it was cool surprise for me when the song came out to see, that the song was written with itzy in mind! chaeryeong actually recently mentioned on a radio show that she asked changbin for a song (https://x.com/binnilogy/status/1847701527701430498) there's also a generous 25min recording behind of vay if you interested in checking that out for a reaction or in your own time (https://youtu.be/EjHYRIQs-S0?si=DrXyqmfCr5pCyS8U&t=2106). it's super sweet!!

Changbin wrote VAY and helped compose it, too. And he directed the recording sessions. You guys should watch them recording this song. This video shows the ITZY members recording two other songs (Gold and Imaginary Friend), in addition to VAY. I would love to see more cross-group collabs, too. I think ALL of the groups involved (and their companies) would benefit. I have a feeling a lot of solo artists and groups would love to collab with SKZ. I just don't know if they have the TIME, lol. Especially this year, with all of the content they are churning out like crazy already, and their world tour, etc. It's been a freaking AMAZING year for them, so far.

Yes, I really recommend this if you find the time! The difference between Itzy recording with him and with JYP is striking. Reminiscent of Chan directing NiziU. When you've seen these girls cry in the recording booth, it's amazing to see them like this.

Changbin girl group debut!!! Yes!! I love this song and the fact that these are Changbin’s lyrics. He was also in the studio helping with the directing process for this song giving the girls encouragement and support throughout the making of this song. This was such a cool different side of both itzy and Changbin that i haven’t seen. Love jyp family 😭🥰💞

I love this song. I don't know ITZY that well, but I love that each girl got her part to shine, like I have a good sense of their vocal timbre/tone, even without Changbin adding to it. I feel like it's a good mix of the two groups. It just seems very 'modern' if that makes sense. The production was fire!
