This cover is special in that, firstly, Lee Know's timbre naturally fits the song, and secondly, he uses that knowledge to his advantage by loosening up and letting things be - he doesn't try too hard to sound a certain way, nor does he try to be overly powerful. Man, I have to wait like 6 or 7 hours before I can watch this. Unless I pull over to watch it which I'm very tempted to do. Okay I had never heard the original song before so I very much enjoyed Lee Know's version. And then later on I did listen to the original and it still sounded really good. But I think Lee Know is amazing for singing what four? people normally do with just him. And this was his first ever skz record. So everybody freaked out when it first dropped. And rightfully so because he sounds stunning. Lol day 7. How does one sing like a mother figure? I mean he is a mother figure and I kind of get it but like what? Lol the ex music video has altered your brain chemistry forever. Wow! It's normally Han-C that has the strange analogies but this time it's all D'some. But it's so funny to listen to. Yeah he drinks a lot of water to keep those vocal cords nice and hydrated. Wow! D'some is in full on delulu mode and I love it. Lee know domination 1000%. I will proofread this comment whenever I come to a stop. Because I definitely commentated while I was in stop and go traffic and now there is no more traffic so.

Love how D’some is still spiraling about EX 🤣🤣 But no this is definitely one of my favorites of the new SKZ records. I’ve always adored Lee Know’s vocals and am so happy he’s singing more and more. I hope you’ll soon check out "Black hole" by Bangchan and I.N. There’s also Hyunjins "Long for you" and "hey you" (made me cry the first listen). 💕💕

this is extra special bc it’s lee knows first solo skz record 🥲 this cover also broke a lot of view records for “solo skz records” & just “skz records” in general! it was the fastest to reach a lot of million benchmarks! (they were all taken by the duet skz record w lee know & han) 😂🫶🏼 it also was trending peak #6 on youtube videos worldwide! 😭 i guess you could say we were all waiting for a solo skz record from him LOL

SKZ are all so hardworking, but Lee Know has had such a shift recently. I feel like he's finally come to accept his own talent and is really coming to discover his own color. He just goes for it vocally. His new confidence singing live is just amazing, and I love to see him giving more and more each time. I could be wrong, but I think many of the members went/go to the same vocal coach now.

Come to the weird side, we have Lee Know! This song made me so impatient for the future, because I started counting how many years it will take for his solo album to come out... It is difficult stanning SKZ cause you need them to be together forever and at the same time you want solo projects from everyone. So, since the flames of crazyness must be fanned, maybe it's finally time for Want so BAD?

The warmth and airiness of Lee Know's voice, as well as his sharp still magically tender falcetto, feels like cotton around my heart. 2024 and my bias Hyunjin and bias wrecker Bang Chan has got a solid contender in Lee Know.

To describe Lee Know as „a core of strength surrounded by a layer of softness“ is so fitting, I think! And yes, he put all this to this song and by it he makes it his song in a subtle manner. Lee Know became such a great singer!

This is one of my favorite day6 song, and Lee know absolutely did it justice! Would love to hear your thoughts on Chan's 'Eternity'. Chan does solo records very rarely that this song really came as a surprise. One of my favorites too☺️

Love Me or Leave Me was the first Korean song that captured my heart so it always feels like coming home 🤍 when this dropped I almost cried, he did it justice while also sounding just like himself. I love this cover sm 🥰

D'Some and Han-C.....be sure to listen to the original "Want So Bad" because it's the complete song. The version Han and Lee Know sang for 2 Kids SHOW - while seriously amazing - is incomplete. It's not the full song.

"a core of strength surrounded by a layer of softness" I feel that applies to his singing voice, for sure. But his personality is the exact opposite. He can be prickly and seemingly cold (sometimes) on the outside - our tsundere king - but inside he's actually quite warm and caring.

I like "Eternity," but I wish Chan had made an actual video to go with the song, instead of a video with his dog. It made a lot of people say....."What's with all of the dog songs Stray Kids keep releasing?" (Hyunjin's Little Star, Seungmin's Hold On and then Eternity....)

I'm absolutely terrified of Hold on, I don't think I've been able to listen it further than the chorus. Made the mistake of reading the lyrics the first time and now the floodgates open already when I recognise it playing. So if you are or have been a pet owner and haven't heard this song yet - be warned.

This might be true for their other covers, but I'm pretty sure for day6 covers, they use the original tracks. Seungmin mentioned in an Intro video where he talked about his cover that he recorded it in the original producer's studio. So this might be tge case for this cover too.

I've never seen Chan say it was specifically for Berry. Is there a link for that? Reading the lyrics themselves, the song could be referring to a human companion.

He didn't directly say it, but i think lyrics are pretty straight forward. The way he worded some of the lyrics I think implies it's about berry and the mv itself shows that. I mean he did say it's about stays on bbl, but the lyrics saying "the way you wake me up in bed"😂 is just weird if it's for stays hahaha. And he talked about berry right after saying that too. But whoever the song might be for, it really still is a very good song.

Lee Know's voice has been one of my favourites since Levanter- he just has a tone I find really beautiful and him singing a full song and hearing all the detail I loved it so much. He has a kind of delicate nature to his voice, it's strong, but there is a lot of subtle detail and small features that add this extra sparkle. I feel like he's also really good at the emotions of the track. I'm so proud seeing how he started with 0 vocal training in the survival show and now he's so strong vocally, and so stable with it. He didn't just learn to sing well, he learned how to do it whilst being the energetic pro dancer he is. I just find his quiet work ethic very cool and this cover is so beautiful.

I actually LOVE the comparison of Lee Know's voice to a mothering one! Not only is he mom of Stray Kids but you're so right- he has a loving, safe-sounding voice that is also strong and I'd never thought of it like that before! Love it!
