HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY SEUNGMIN! Yes! SONG by Episode 5 is back with not just one, but TWO songs as a gift! (Thanks Seungmin). Lauv's “Steal The Show” was beautifully sung in Seungmin’s style, and we loved the unique arrangement with different chord progressions. “내려요 (Stars and Raindrops)” was fascinating too! His falsetto and solid high notes were on point, and the way he switched up his tone in this episode was amazing. That raspy voice hit different! Oh, and the stunning Lotte Tower backdrop? Totally blew us away. We can’t wait for the next SONG By episode. We’re soooo loving this! yaaaaayyyy - I was hoping this would be this week! I am consistently surprised by the way he adjusts his tone to suit what he is conveying with the songs he picks. For 내려요, it seemed a bit like he was almost chasing the music when i first heard this version - maybe the effect of the prerecorded drum on my not-well-trained ear. Loved it regardless, though.

So happy to see another "Song By." I'm hoping there will be more episodes (no idea how many he will make), and that there will be at least one more where Seungmin dives into an indie / rock genre. ---------------------------------------- Also: A while back Seungmin asked each of the members of 3Racha to write songs for him to sing. Chan wrote one, and Seungmin has already recorded it. Han wrote one, and Seungmin will be recording it soon. This was definitely my favorite song by. Im excited to watch this when I can. That's so fair Han-C because I also thought it was a day6 song that he was covering. But then he did say it's from the movie elementals. Yes, the format of this episode was different from the original ones. In the way that he started immediately with the song but I loved it. Im glad you talked about the outfit bcuz its simple but beautiful. It gave me rich man on a yacht vibes 🤣. He sounds amazing covering this song. I remember watching it but I only remember bits and pieces of it. I definitely need to watch it again. But that was definitely a big spoiler of the movie. Stars and raindrops is so beautiful. And I'm happy we got to hear it live. Han-C is just rocking out while D'some was straight up hypnotized by seungmin's vocals 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾. He did say that his voice is constantly changing in the very first episode. Vocally for sure i liked the live better but I really love the studio instrumental of stars and raindrops so so much.

the best bday present someone could give on their OWN bday. he literally looked like a prince this episode and w an amazing skyline background!!! stars and raindrops is one of my fav skz solo songs and he did incredible. i can really feel the difference between 22 yr old Seungmin vs 24 yr old Seungmin and how he matured as a person and vocally. i really liked this arrangement but i wonder what it would sound like if it was just raw guitar and piano like the first episode. i still haven’t seen Elemental so im w you Han-C about the spoiler warning LOLL guess i gotta watch it now. Seungmin hinted at 3 new songs on their way! can’t wait to hear them.

What a great way to start the day! Don't know if you've seen, but Seungmin has teased three new songs to be released at an unknown time. He had asked each 3racha member to write him a song, and for his birthday live he shared that he'd already recorded Chan's song and had received a demo from Han. He didn't know if Changbin was going to do it or have time, though. Then, just a few hours ago, they both came to bubble to tell that Changbin had done his song for his birthday 😊😊

Don't worry Han-C, Seungmin spoiled Elemental for me too, but he also got me to watch it after so Thank you for your reactions! Loved the highlight about his falsetto. I had adored hearing his falsetto (and change in vocal style) in the songs, but I didn't even realize how much he used it until watching this

Love that you guys are honest always!! For me, I had the same thoughts as you guys about the drums! But still it was amazing to see seungmin sing this live I’ve been waiting so long for him to do a live clip of his song!
