…dads!

When I say “Dad,” what springs to mind?

Mari

At this point ripped bodies, tight dress shirts and very large genitalia

Beard, balding, dad bod

visceral-stories

Khaki pants, dress clothes (for obvious reasons) a bearish body type, salt and pepper hair, straight teeth, and a good ol mustache or beard

dredlifter

An established, sturdy, confident man. His years of experience give him a solidness in life, not only with his job, finances, etc., but also with his body. Through years of exercise he's built himself a muscular and strong physique, even if he doesn't have the shredded abs he had in college. He has developed "man strength" that makes him even stronger than he looks. As an actual dad, he's still fairly young, late 30s or early 40s, and is just developing grey in his temples and beard. He loves to lift weights not only for the attention it gives him, but for the extra form of protection it gives him to watch over his children and loved ones. He's an encouraging and positive person, but if you cross his family he won't hesitate to use his massive biceps against you.

I'm your son, who you breed on a nearly daily basis.

bastion of stability. Big facial hair or a receding hairline are all well and good. But it's a title that has to be earned. Not taken by the controlling or abusive. All the trappings of dominance are just means to an end. A dad cares for the men in his life, he's harsh when his boys enjoy it and soft when they need it

CigarDave

A silent, but strong type of man. Stern but compassionate. A “lived in” body, rough around the edges but heartbreakingly handsome. Big shoulders, thick arms, furry barrel chest. Bald with Mustache and a few days of salt and pepper stubble. Smells faintly of the morning cologne and cigar smoke, with a touch of whisky from the short pour after a long day of work.

Stable and assertive, he feels like he's done well with his life but not boastful. Occupation wise doesn't matter much, can be just about anything, but we all love a suited dad don't we. Ruggedly handsome and a strong body, muscles but not all muscles, he's had other important things in his life as well. Facial hair optional, beard or mustache works well but so does clean shaved or a days stubble. Bald or balding, fringe is a plus. Glasses is a plus, preferably always needed but reading glasses can work too. Can have kids on his own, biological or not, or just be a dad in spirit.
