I know it's an odd thing to comment on first considering the picture, but I really gotta give it up for the use of depth-of-field on the buildings. When I nominated this as a poll option I didn't have any expectations for backgrounds and the like, but the use of blur on the buildings that wouldn't be as in-focus, and the buildings at all, really do help to give a sense of size, scale and distance being covered here. The sky backdrop is also a very nice touch and the clouds are well done. It's good framing for a picture to help really sell the idea that Mt. Lady's really just grown absolutely gigantic. As for Mt. Lady herself, she's grand! The picture came together mostly how I thought it would and looks really solid. I will say that the posing of her right arm does seem a bit off between the direction her wrist is descending versus where her forearm seems to be positioned, but when you're working with so much obscured space that can pop up from time to time. Sorry I haven't been commenting as frequently; I've gotten a bit slammed with work both in school and in my own time writing and, admittedly, on the Pink World comic anal isn't exactly my thing. I'll pick back up once work clears up a bit but I'll still try to drop comments like this, on the 3-D Momo piece and on the 2-and-a-half-D stuff that really catches my eye when I can scrape together some time.
