Personal+Logistics

After looking back over my last insight, I feel that I'm in a better place. My life is slowly moving in the direction I want it to go. There's something that I'm looking forward to more than I can even express. Those are my overall feelings, but I also have been experiencing some stress.

The more content I make, the more difficult it is to keep track of everything. How much progress I've made on each file, where each file is posted, etc. I have several spreadsheets tracking certain information, which is good, because even 5 seconds after I look at one it feels like all the information slides right out of my head. I wonder if someday there will be files that I've forgotten I made at all.

Even then… when I look at the list itself of the projects I've made, it's a little underwhelming. Not including the various versions of each file, they total up to 11. 11 hypnosis projects in 10 months. When I look at other creators with hundreds of files, I sometimes feel a little hollow inside. I have to remind myself that I want to focus on quality over quantity.

It's also very difficult not to post things as soon as I finish them, but I know it will be better for my peace of mind to wait. Not having something ready to be posted can make me anxious, and the Enslavement Flight file especially will take a while to complete. I see it similarly to the Bloom/Rot files in terms of how ambitious it is, though it might be a bit shorter, I'm not sure yet.

Projects

I wanted to give a little extra information about some of the upcoming files!

Enslavement Flight (working title) is the file I'm most excited about right now. I got really inspired to write the script after reading a story with a similar theme. It's very much a file where the experience happens to you, whether you like it or not (of course you can always stop listening).

For the Incubus Roommate, I wanted to try my hand at the admittedly popular trope of a roommate who is secretly attracted to you. This file references a bit of a history (which you will find out more about) between you and the character as well.

The character in the commissioned script is based off of an antagonist called Corvus from COD: Black Ops 3. I have never played that video game and I typically prefer to stick to original characters, but somehow my client knew that this would be a character I could write well. (At least, that's how I feel about it–who knows if I actually wrote him well, haha.)

The cover/reinterpretation is of a file by Robert Brown on Youtube, one of his mind melt files. When I still listened to files, his were among those that I listened to most.

The Dream Demons file will feature two characters who I still have to name (rip), one in each ear. It will be the first file after the original Havelock to have the full version released on Youtube, though Patrons will of course get early access.

Thank you so much for sticking with me <3

Sincerely,

spell
