MP4 versions of the tests:     [Timmi]     [Zelda]

My plan was to start working on the pic I want to animate yesterday, but I realized that I first should learn some in's and out's of the software I want to use. So I sat down read some tutorials (still a whole lot to learn) and animated a panel from the current comic page and made a puppet animation for a roughly cutout model I did for one of my first Zelda reality rewrites. (The Zelda one is still really rough because I still struggle with making the movement better + I kinda messed up when I painted the weights)

So this is why I was gone yesterday and kinda today too. These two pics are the result of my progress thus far ^^

Why Wallpaper Engine? Didn't you start to learn animating 2D in Blender for scenes like these?

Well, I did, BUT there are almost no tutorials for 2D animation for the specific plugin I use. I was struggling hard to animated a few shots because I had no place to look stuff up. The Wallpaper engine on the other hand got a nicely documented step by step for almost everything and got some easy to use tools and a way more user friendly interface. So I thought I'd start learning this one instead for the few occasions I want to do a quick animation like that. I still like doing frame-by-frame animations but making some quick animations like that only has advantages ^^

I'm gonna keep practicing and upload some more tests when I got the time to experiment ^^

Because I don't want you all to wait too long for any art post tho I'll resume my work on TACS 2 on Monday, preparing pages 52 & 53!

Thank you for your patience while I try to learn more ways to create artworks ^^

The way the Timmi animation is done is very good the colors really pop in it. And the boob jiggle not gonna lie is almost hypnotic.

This was my first try to animate something in the engine ^^ and yeah, layered around 4-5 different jiggle animations to get that hypnotic jiggle in the end ^^

Well I would say you succeeded there so good for you also good you expanding your art skills with animation I know you did animations in the past which I really want to see the rest of that old jiro animation but I like the new way of animation your doing.
