Project Overview

Hey there!

I underestimated the workload completely. I also had to drive my gf to an appointment this morning and tomorrow morning as well. Had less time than I wanted which resulted in me only finishing half of the rough sketches instead of all of them.

I said I'll get them done till Wednesday but it seems like I need till Thursday with the current RL appointments.

With everything being a bit in disarray I've decided to move the posting of the monthly fanart and sequence poll to tomorrow, which means that you all got a little bit more time to send in a suggestion.

Regarding the content cutback: I think I will pause the monthly sketches in September IF I don't get done in time. The sketches (when all slots are filled) take the longest, especially because it's 10 different characters, poses, prompts and ideas from 10 people I have to visualize instead of one idea each like in the fanart and sequence. I have to look into the matter if I can pause the billing cycle for a tier or not or if there are other options I can take into consideration. All in due time tho, I hope I get everything done in time so I don't have to cut anything.

I mentioned that it's highly demotivating when I continuously work on backlogs instead of my projects. If push comes to shove and it really doesn't work out I have to reset, pause my Patreon for a month, or at least the tiers that get extra goodies and get everything back into working order. This is going on since February and I need to get a grip on the situation. It can't be that I get done 3 pages of TACS 2 before and now there's only 1 page per month.

I try my best to not let it come to a complete halt. I love drawing, but only working on other ideas due to the backlogs isn't healthy. It's the same reason I stopped doing commissions more than 2 years ago because it just got too much. Here I try to monitor how I am feeling, how I'm working and whatnot and if I ever feel like everything's derailing I will consider pausing Patreon content for a month.

Sorry for the vent at the end, as I always say: Writing it helps me to order my thoughts on different matters ^^
