Update on life, Commissions and Personal Work (Patreon)

Hey there!

Thought about adressing a few things before I move to a new place :) Some personal stuff here and there, nothing crazy or bad, just some stuff when it comes to money and everything tied to it ^^

I always was transparent and I want to keep it that way :)

First of all: I am moving

I mentioned it in a few posts already: I am moving to a new place, not far from here so there isn't that much content draught inbetween. I hope that getting internet and all the other stuff there won't be a problem. I heard that in some cities it takes 3 months to finally get a technician who fixes the internet if there are connection problems, let's hope that that's not the case. I can still drive to my parents and upload from there though lol

What does this mean for you: Nothing besides that the Patreon Fanart Poll Winner, the Sequence Poll Winner, the HQ Downloads and some of the Patron Sketches might take longer and won't make it till the end of the month. It all depends on how smoothly we move from one place to the other :)

Financial stuff

Another point I mostly avoid talking about because it isn't worth noting. You see, all of this was made possible in the first place because my girlfriend was earning enough so I was able to pursue this full-time. Based on how long you follow me you might not know that my girlfriend wasn't able to get through her apprenticeship due to her getting burn-out and a few other psychological issues she had beforehand didn't help in that matter which left me in the position on earning for the both of us.

Her and my family supported us a bit during that time financially and it's no biggie. The only reason I bring this up is because the support isn't endless and honestly I don't want it to be endless. It just doesn't feel right to be dependant on your parents you know? Don't get me wrong, this phase bought me enough time to get my Patreon on a level where it is possible to sustain my girlfriend and myself only with art and I can't stress how gratefull I am that you support me.

Sooo how to continue from here? + Goals

Nothing changes, no need to worry about that. I amassed a big financial backup which helps out when it comes to any sort of financial issues. The thing is I don't want to touch that, I want to be able to earn enough so I can sustain us without using that backup. I want to make profit 'ya know? XD

Because of that I changed my goals today, still money goals, but with real numbers. I list the stuff that gets paid by your incredible support and I also added another paragraph which mentions how many commissions I have to take to get by easily. Even if I don't get commissions I got some backup plans to make it work lol. Of course the number will fluctuate inbetween goals we reach.

Personal Work

Yep, most of the stuff you saw since January are my own projects and well Patron related content (Monthly Fanart, Sequence and Sketches). I don't want to make less of it because I work on commissions, I just have to work more and get some sort of schedule going. Working on commissions in the mornings while working on own projects during midday and the evening with still enough breaks and free time a normal job would have. It may take a while till I balance things out accordingly but it will work because I want it to work ^^

Just a disclaimer: I don't mean any SFW art by personal art, I just enjoy drawing transformations and NSFW too much lol

But there is something else that would decimate commission work a lot...

...and that is when we get some money from our state. You see we got all sorts of support for people who aren't able to work due to psychological issues or just because they can't work at the moment. Because my girlfriend was in a apprenticeship not in a real job we thought we couldn't apply for something like that but it might be possible after all. If this works all of the above doesn't matter.. well besides that we're moving lol.

Depending if and how much we get I only have to do a bit of commission work and in the best case don't have to do any commission work. We issued a request and get the papers soon. We got someone who tries to make it possible for us and when it works we are in the clear.

And with that we are in the present. I just wanted to talk to you about the things that are currently going on and everything they bring with them :)

As I said, nothing will change and I will try my hardest to make it work no matter how it will turn out!
