hot new releases

Hello and welcome to Far Cry 5 week here on Abnormal Mapping. We will provide you absolutely no coverage of the new open world shooter from publisher Ubisoft, and you can tune in every day this week for the deafening silence of our apathy as the takes roll in from around the internet. This promises to be an incredible one-time-only way to kick off the spring release season, minus last year and next year and all the other years.

Seriously tho, I'm already tired of people giving the bad game press, because this is the fourth time this has happened. Eventually games people have to stop falling for the same old tricks, but it sure won't be this year.

We had some stuff go up this week! Please enjoy our good output, free of microtransactions past our Abnormal Mapping PodPass, which allows you all the benefits of one of the True Believers.

  • Second Officer Slog returns with the final book of the Shatnerverse trilogy, Avenger! Who is being Avenged? Sarek! Didn't Sarek die of a natural illness? Who can say!
  • The Great Gundam Project welcomes a Very Special Guest Andrew Lee Swan as we talk about the return of Amuro and the impossibility of not punching people in space.
  • Jackson's letter this week is a more personal meditation on the Bad Brain Times and the impossibility of logging off.
  • I've continued my Dark Souls 2 let's play after a few weeks off, with two episodes (16 and 17) that could not be more opposed in mood and play quality. Please enjoy my deaths, but please respect my life as I mace my way through endless knight guys.

And that is all! This week will bring you more GGP, a new Abnormal Mapping, and the return of the Amory Score, so please get ready to learn and laugh with your besties as we spin along, oblivious to the rest of the internet.
