You can see the last version on  http://reddypics.com/fantasy/

I am working in the "final versions" of some graphics, I want to see what kind of coloring fits better in this project. Coloring is one of my weakest points, sometimes it takes me a lot of time to get it right. But, eventually, i get a satisfactory result.

What's new?

-I inked and colored the first room. Added a little animated fire and light.

-Now the hero shows up in the room!

-You can meet the merchant and buy stuff from her! You can find her clicking in the door on the second room.

-I changed the first enemy, from the orc to the zombie maid. She is the weakest enemy type after all. I am still replacing the graphics.

-I changed the HUD a bit more. Its getting better!

What's next?

I need to implement the "muscle out" command! There will be a new gauge, you can fill it by damaging enemies and drinking growth potions. After transforming the bar will deplete by time and damage taken, you will need to attack even harder to keep the transformation active. And if you fill the gauge even more while transformed you will achieve an even more powerful form! Sounds neat, right?

John Doe

Love the zombie girl and want to see a buff version of her.

One thing I did forget to say I am coding the game to allow several types of characters. Right now only the Knight is available but I want to put every enemy selectable in the future. With that, they will need to have their own muscular forms. Isn't that cool?

Awesome designs

Reddy's colouring weak? That's unpossible! Your colouring has always been fantastic! It's so vibrant it really makes your images pop. Definitely far better than just "satisfactory!" And I like the slightly more muted "grittier" style you seem to be going for here compared to Mass Attraction. I think it suits the dungeon-type, almost retro 'exploration game' theme. Seems like a good fit! Your idea for the "muscle out" command sounds good too! You've got to work a bit to get it, then also to keep it, and if you lose it you can eventually regain it so that it's not just a "one and done" thing. Sounds like a good way to keep that part of the game engaging over the course of a playthrough!

Nah, my sense of colors sucks. And I get pissed about because I spend a lot of time and most of the times I move on. BUT one of my qualities(maybe the only one) is the persistence, I will try improve that flaw on the next day until I eventually move on again. And again. And again. The muscle out will work as a last resort kind of thing. There will be benefits if you delay the transformation. You will not want to spend the bar on a puny enemy and face a much stronger one later with no powers.
