Support Response - March will be paused - Some Changes to Growth Comics tier - Refunds (Patreon)

The response from the patreon support arrived, it was my fault (again I’m terribly sorry) but unfortunately they couldn't help us. Here is the extract of the mail:

Taking a look on my end, I am able to confirm that you last paused your Creator page on December 16, 2021. Pausing must be reinitiated each month if you wish for it to persist.

While I certainly wish I had a different answer for this, there isn't currently a way to mass-refund Patrons that have been charged. Each refund must be initiated individually. I've personally never heard of a situation in which refunding caused some sort of fraud or trust and safety trigger, so I wouldn't worry about this. That said, I can certainly see how manually refunding all of these Patrons is a serious chore. I'd be happy to raise this feedback with the rest of the team.

Given the previous post's feedback  that was full of kindness and generosity (thank you guys), I decided to pause March instead of February to save some time on refunding each one of you. This time I did, I didn’t forget, you can check the above picture.

You all are entitled to a refund if you were patrons in January 2022 and you’ve been charged in February 2022, don’t worry to ask, don’t be shy, you can send me private messages and all will be ok. Before taking your decision however read about the changes there will occur only in the “Growth Comics” tier.

I’ve been working on the Blue Phone new chapter already and I finished the first scene that is about 50 pages alone. I like to add more story and panels per each Day of the comic. I don’t like to cut things out but then being able to create a comic of 200+, or even 150+, panels per month is impossible considering also all the other things I’ve to make. Issues per month will be still of 100+ panels but each day will be split in 2 parts starting from day 5. This is still double the amount of my monthly minimum goal so I think that should still be fair. I love creating this comic and I want to add all that comes into my head. I know the whole series will become huge but it’s the journey that counts more, how you read, live or enjoy each panel. I hope you understand.

Here how things will be split according the new scheme:

• Summer (Jul-Oct) Growth Comics Tier Patrons will receive Day 5 - Part 1
• November Growth Comics Tier Patrons will receive Day 5 - Part 2
• December-January Growth Comics Tier Patrons will receive Day 6 - Part 1
• February-March Growth Comics Tier Patrons will receive Day 6 - Part 2

The main reason I split is because I want to add more stuff per day and cutting scenes or making things shorter was frustrating. That said, you consider the changes I’ve made and you can decide if you want a refund or not, also give me some feedback, thanks.
