Hi guys,
I was continuing the car sequence out of my own will when something happened...
I’ve some bad news: my laptop video card stopped working. I can still use my laptop thanks to an integrated video “card” but it’s impossible to render like before:
[technical explanation] the Octane render engine uses cuda cores that only Nvidia video cards have. This card in device manager gave me an error 43, I tried installing updated video drivers, old video drivers, windows recommended video drivers but nothing. I rolled back to a previous restore point, still nothing. I decided to risk and reinstall windows on a 6 years old laptop that came with windows 8 (was a risk). Nothing. It’s probably an hardware issue, I’ve ordered a torx screwdriver, a phillips screwdriver and thermal paste hoping that maybe opening, cleaning and reconnecting the hardware may help. The next step would be to find this old video card chip, in this quarantine period it’s very hard [technical stuff stops].
I can still render with a CPU based engine, however this engine has cartoonish style, it’s the same as I used on the first part of the Growth Diary tho.
It’s been a year since I wasn’t the luckiest person on earth, euphemistically, as a lot of bad things of different scale kept happening. I hope this is the last of the streak.
I don’t know when I can be back to my country, probably in about one month after the quarantine period finishes. 
For now I can keep creating like this but later I’ll re-render everything, I hope it’s ok for you.
You’ve an example above how things will look, this was the scene I was trying to render when my video card failed. I was going to create some extra for this scene, I was inspired and this problem really killed my mood, I don’t want to give up tho. I didn’t know what to do when this happened, then I realized I can continue with the diary, I just need to give up on commissions for now and postpone them to a later date. I’ll use the extra time to write down new stories. I feel really creative these days. It's a pity if all this stops me.
Summary of the above:

• My video card doesn’t work (I’ll do my best to try to fix this, no promises tho)
• I can keep rendering the Growth Diary with another engine (the same as the first growth diary entries) and re-render them at a later date
• Meanwhile I’ll write new stories

I’m really sorry about this but it’s something out of my will.
