This is a 10:1 scale of the Lego Lightsaber with a collapsing blade. It has  a screw on cap so the blade can be printed separately then inserted or replaced. I did make the blade a little longer because at 10 times scale it would only have been 12.5” long. If you do want a shorter and more durable blade, just print the blades in vase mode and increase the line width slightly. I added some chamfers so it can be printed without supports.

There is both a replaceable blade and a print-in-place version.

There were some reports of air being trapped so I added a version of the cap with a hole.  I also added a double caps so you can put two lightsabers together.

Supports are not required, for best results use a .4mm nozzle. You can print the blades all at once concentrically or one at a time in vase mode. I suggest printing in vase mode but if printing concentrically, the test print can be found here. Find detailed instructions on how to print collapsing swords on my website.
