I’m so excited 😆 to see you react to this series - even if it’s only parts. You had a question at the beginning about stand ins. To the best of my knowledge, The main differences between a stand in and a stunt man is a stunt man plays “themselves”. Stand ins don’t get their faces revealed/filmed - stunt men can. So in a fight scene with the main character fighting 10 villains, the villains would be stunt men. The have their faces filmed in addition to doing the stunts. The MC in the scene might not necessarily be the actor playing the role but a stunt man replacement who looks similar to the actor. AKA - a stand in.

Yay, I'm really glad that you started to watch this, I think it's one of the best series of 2024 already, even if some more really promising are going to air later. I love Up since Lovely writer, I saw him in Step by step too, in support role, and he was good there. But this is definitely a totally different character for him, and I think he does amazing job. Poom (Joe) is an experienced actor, but it's his first BL, so I also never watched anything with him before. But I love his acting, his eyes and face are really expressive, he can convey lots of emotions without words, all those inner monologues, mixed feelings etc. Also he said in the interview that he didn't have any fighting experience before this series, so he had to undergo some serious training with real stuntmen in order to look professionally here. Both Poom and Up are very serious about studying their characters, preparing for the roles, and it shows. The filming crew also did wonderful job I think, all those beautiful locations, outfits, lighting... It's almost fully the same team that filmed KinnPorsche, and I saw some things reminding of it, but overall feeling is different of course, just the same high quality of production and attention to details. Very excited to watch it with you, even if partly, and to hear your thoughts about the episodes you'll watch with your friend (and maybe some of her impressions too?)
