The plagiarism thing was dumb. Someone accused him of stealing their tweet and using it in his lyrics, but the person’s tweet was quoting a poem that I think RM had also read. But basically, it got turned into a big deal and then he had to apologize because Kpop idols (especially then) had to apologize for everything, even if they didn’t do something and were just accused of it. But it backfired because the apology was then used by antis to say “See he does plagiarize other people” and then came a two year stretch where they were accused of plagiarism non-stop. I was really proud of Namjoon this past year because he’s finally reached a point where he’s not apologizing for stupid shit anymore and I love that for him.
