Hey everyone, we were wondering what guide we should start with for BTS. It's finally that time lol.

As previously mentioned, the fan-made documentary series “The Rise of Bangtan”, available on Youtube, is a good guide to understanding the 10+ years of BTS. As for their music, the members have written and produced such a wide range of genre that everyone will suggest something different, hoping to get you hooked and stick around for humongous quantity of content (music, travel shows, reality tv, vlogs, behind the scene stuff, etc). In my opinion, no matter which song you go for, reading the lyrics is a must to understand why people become fans (ARMY). There’s also an upcoming documentary that will be on Disney+ on December 20th. Depending on its content, it could end up being the perfect introduction.

It may be late, but it turns out that the official documentary mentioned in my previous comment is an excellent guide: 'BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star'. I personally thinking it's a great introduction as not only do you hear various bits of their songs, but also get to see their 10+ years through 8 episodes of 30 minutes; 2 episode per week, starting December 20th.
