Sara's church scene really got me, cant believe her drugged up brain has been fantasizing about Myeong-o all this time. 😂 Excited to see her as the 2nd main villain in Uncanny Counter season 2. Loved the actress!

Man this bully group are basically having the feelings for each other. Sara which we found out now have a thing for Myeong Oh, Myeong Oh confessed his feelings to Hyejeong before leaving, Hyejeong crushing on Jaejun since forever, and Jaejun still holding on to Yeonjin. Man they are a mess 😂. You can see how parents are such a big influence to their children beside DongEun's mom. The bullies are the way they are cause of how they grew up and relying on their parents to clean up their mess. Ms.Kang is such a good mom which is why her daughter is a sweet person too. Not to mention Yeojung's parents, the dad is a saint and the mom always supporting her son. DongEun's mom is such a "cockroach", doesn't care about her daughter and only herself.

2023-06-22 23:17:10 You mentioned the difference between Dong-Eun's relationships & Yeon-Jin's. It calls back to Dong-Eun's line from episode 3 where she says "Which would be stronger, the solidarity of victims or solidarity of perpetrators?" Just another proof how good the dialogues of this show are.

Haha...I think Jaejun didn't even think through whether he could beat Doyeong in a fight. Jaejun never thinks things through because he never has to suffer the consequences of his actions because of his family's status and money. It's just unfortunate for him that Doyeong has equal footing (if not more) and has the surprising skill to take him physically too. In truth, Jaejun has never been shown to be a fantastic fighter...he just fights people who have no means of fighting back so it's good to see him get a taste of his own medicine. That aside, the gifts weren't from Dongeun - they were the bribes the parents of children in Dongeun's class gave Dongeun's mother when they were harrassed by her. That's why Dongeun can't stay on as a teacher and had to resign because her mother DID take the bribes and even at that point, Dongeun doesn't just cut ties legally to get out of that association. As for the 1% Yeojeong said he'd make up for - go back to the dialogue immediately before that and it will have a much more literal meaning too. 😉 Happy to explain if you guys don't get it later...

Chaebols are very rich and powerful in Korea. I saw a documentary once on how they came to power. After the 2nd war, Korea needed to recover and so the government gave certain families money to industrialize the country to survive. These families are now some of the most powerful people in Korea. I'm assuming that both or all the rich men on this show are all chaebols. They would have limitless money and power so their character depends on how they were raised by their parents. That's why most dramas center around a rich chaebol also.
