The key to having Geun-Won's case re-opened was detective Oh turning himself in and confessing, and that's what happened. You saw Geun-Won arriving at the court which should be an indicator. (Geun-Won's lawyer also mentioned it right after). Also, Justin got one thing wrong. Team Saeroyi's strategy suggested by Yi-Seo was, if Chairman Jang abandoned Geun-Won and chose the company over him, they should give up their plan (because that'd be enough to calm the whole situation down). Obviously Chairman Jang outwitted them. But kudos to your analogy to Thanos sacrificing Gamora. Couldn't put it better than that to explain what Chairman Jang was doing. But I don't think the writers were trying to make you feel bad for him or Geun-Won. Most of the characters in this particular drama are multi-faceted. The writer isn't afraid to show some major flaws of a good character or unexpectedly mellow sides to a bad character. The viewers who only seek cut-throat black and white or those that are quick to judge would have a hard time while watching it. Instead of evaluating a character in their core nature, they literally like them for one episode but then turn on them in the next because of a thing they do. (And vice versa.) All I can say is, this isn't a show made by the CW Network or Disney+.

It is criminal that y'all are only doing one reaction a week for this show, literally wait all week for you guys to post haha.

Also, on the note of the apology: I think it was purely performative. If he was actually sorry, he wouldn't have pushed the entire blame into his kid. His goal was to save his company, not to actually make amends with Saeyori or to make up for any of his wrongs. He literally threw his own son under the bus, acted remorseful, all to protect his position and power. Truly such a gross human.

If you guys want to see Park Seo-Joon(Sae Royi) as the Rich CEO, I would recommend “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim"(2018). It’s one of the most iconic Kdrama Romcoms with the best casting ever. You’ll see Sae Ro -Yi in a suit!(like proper designer suits). And his sleek haircut which got so viral in Korea that it became the signature Chaebol or rich CEO haircut. His haircut is not the only viral thing from the drama lol,…the last time I checked, one of the kiss scenes had garnered about 300 million views on YouTube haha…as if it was a kpop music video. (His role there is like the male version of Ko Mun-Yeong(IONTBO), but more comedic) Oh, you’ll also get to meet the Queen of kdrama Romcoms, Park Min-Young! These two delivered such great chemistry..everyone thought that they were dating. The storyline of the drama may not have been the best, nonetheless Park Min Young and Park Seo Joon served it hot. Hope you add it to your list

Great Reaction <3 IMO Chairman Jang was putting on an Act, If you watch that scene again you can see the Symbolism in the camera work... Chairman Jang on his knees Spewing out BS to the Media and the exact same time Saeroyi is on his knees Vomiting... IMO its Symbolism for Chairman Jang saying what ever he can to save his company, and his actions he is willing to do will make someone who is good like Saeroyi sick

Ok Im here late but here non the less. Here we go!!

Irieezy.

I dont feel bad for pildo at all-- but the fucked up thing about it is, when the incident happened long time ago, pildo WANTED to turn himself in. It was his dad that covered it up lol so that shit was betrayal at its finest. Chairman Jang didnt mean his apology at all. He did it to save face and his company. So crazy how he finally visited his dads grave after he locked up the man who killed him. He made it his life mission to put that SOB in jail (as he should) I think he was too ashamed to see him until he did that. & yes, its soju etiquette for the youngest to turn away when drinking soju. I'm not sure if you guys remember but "Danbam" (translated to Sweet Night in korean) is the name of his place because it reminds him of that night he drank with his dad. His dad asked him how does it taste? and he said, "It's sweet." Then the dad says that means you had an impressive day. 🥲 But enjoyed the reaction guys! Onto the nexttttt
