Looks like Vincenzo and Cha-young were one step behind the Prosecutor in this one.

okay so quick clarification cuz sometimes it can come across weird in the translation! In Korea, you usually have titles for someone that you address them by. There are gendered terms that signify relationship and age hierarchy. For men, they call an older man that they are close to "hyung" and an older woman that they are close to "noona". For women, they call an older man they are close to "oppa" and older women they are close to "unni". Even if they are only one year older it usually still applies. Technically, these terms can translate directly to sister or brother because they are used in families but depending on context the meaning changes. It simply just shows that they are close to that person. For example, women sometimes call their boyfriends "oppa" in a flirty way if they're older but it is completely stripped of any flirtation when they refer to their older brother like that. It all depends on context so when subtitles directly translate it to "brother" or "sister" it can get weird but it's really not! hope this helped!

So basically that scene where he asked if he could call him "hyung" was just to show that he was obviously flirting with him by trying to make their relationship seem closer

one of my favourite episodes, loved the reaction. We got to see Song Joong Ki’s acting range with Tae Ho,…the micro expressions when he was switching between flirting and cringing was just awesome. The break up scene in the car(after the amusement park date) was another reminder of his versatility. We would never get this level of emotion with secretive Mafia lawyer Vincenzo, (who won’t even admit or show that he is falling for Cha Young). Yesss, parasite was a great film. When are we getting the next film reaction? Haha. Something I noticed with the K entertainment industry, is that whenever an actor has a mainstream kdrama being aired, he or she will also have a film released at the same time. Maybe to promote the drama or vice versa, because the actors are usually trending coz of either one. (Korea has a weekly or monthly trending actors list. Literally.)For example, before Vincenzo, Song Joong Ki’s film Space Sweepers was released, then after Vincenzo, Jeon Yeo Bin’s (Cha Young’s) Night In Paradise was released. Both awesome action films. It could also be that viewers are having kdrama withdrawal syndrome and they want more of the characters, so the film industry takes advantage of this. After IONTBO, Seo Ye Ji’s movie Recalled was released. If you ever want to see the actors in another role, or if you’ve got kdrama withdrawal, there’s tons and tons of movies to add to your long, long list, haha.
