We had just worked a full day filming, then we took a few hours to create for ourselves around NYC. We got dinner at a friends restaurant, had a drink, (or 2-3) then came back to the hotel. I was tired, I knew she was, but she was still full of creative energy. She looked amazing, so I just started taking photos as she quietly posed. As usual there was no direction or input from my end, just taking photos as I saw a good opportunity.

This is a top tier gallery because it's a real moment in our life, not staged or planned and really not edited very much except for exposure adjustments. It's our way to connect.  The lighting in the room was warmer so I embraced that orange hue by adjusting my white balance in camera to match and embrace the warmness.

I was using a 50mm wide open at 1.2-1.4 my ISO was up there at around 1600 I believe.

This gallery is called Quiet City because as I was walking around downtown Manhattan with her I was so focused on taking her photos that I lost sense of time, direction and the environment around me.

She laughed at the fact that I got lost, (usually I have a strong sense of my surroundings and direction) but the point is, time seemed to stand still while creating with her.

Some would see this gallery and say that it was trashy, but I would argue to look at the emotions and the affection tied to these photos.  It's not just her nude posing or her very powerful release of emotion, its a connection, and admiration for who she is, a respect of her form. I always tell her, not to worry about a bunch of  jewelry or makeup or nice clothes, but rather to take care of yourself, and respect yourself.

Some of these photos are sensual in nature, but we should embrace sensuality especially while we are subject to it. I don't want to look back when I am 80 years old and wish I had gotten these kinds of photos, I want to have them and remember them and her as she is now.

There is more to this gallery however I will have to find a way to present it without violating terms of this platform.

Some of these may appear bad quality are screen grabs added from video we took.

I hope you all like the gallery. While it certainly evokes an emotion from me, as it may or may not for you, please keep it focused on art with sensual/erotic themes. This work is exclusive to only this platform. Tell me what you think. What is your favorite photo? What do you like about in a physical sense or even what you may know emotionally about her? Im genuinely curious.

There is an essence of the moment that must be accounted for in this type of photography/art that excuses it from ever being considered anything but beautiful, sensual, or even passionate. Great shots, and fantastic job capturing the moment!
