Chapter 14: Here Comes The Lightning!

Royal Palace...

Nalu and Chia were now in a dilemma; the crazy guard the Nalu had disfigured was now hot on their heels, chasing after them while letting out more killing intent the more he chased them.

"Stop running and face me, you bitch," the insane guard shouted as he shot a flame at the fleeing woman.

Nalu exclaimed, "Don't look back, Chia, and keep running." She ran faster, dragging Chia behind her.

"Huff huff," Chia said between gasps. "I know that, but I don't think I can run much longer." She paused for a moment to catch her breath. "My lungs feel like they're going to explode."

"Just keep running a little longer," Nalu whispered, praying for inspiration.

Fire Nation Capital...

Naruto had just entered the capital and he quickly made his way through it; the ominous feeling he was experiencing was growing stronger. The blonde decided to go to his home to check up on Kyoya and Shadow.

Chia and Nalu should be there already waiting for him, the blonde plans to spend time with them after he goes to report what happened on his mission.

Naruto reached his home and went inside to see Kya and Sha cleaning and cooking but he couldn't see Chia and Nalu anywhere.

"Welcome back" Kya greeted Naruto who smiled at the warmth the woman always seemed to have.

"Thank you, Kya. Is Chia and Nalu here?" the blonde asked as he started to get worried.

"No, they haven't come by yet; I thought they might have gone sightseeing before they came here," Kya replied, trying to ease the blonde's worry, but in truth, she too was worried.

"I am sure you are right," Naruto said, trying to convince himself. "I have to go and report what happened on the mission to the Fire Lord, but when I come back, we will spend some time together."

Naruto gave Kya a deep kiss and pecked Sha on the cheek, leaving them both a blushing mess before he left to go to the royal palace with his mind still on Nalu and Chia.

Royal Palace...

Nalu and Chia had managed to escape the crazed, disfigured guard by hiding in an unoccupied room. It just so happened to be Azula's room, who was not in the palace at the moment.

The good thing about their hiding spot is that even if they are insane or not, no guard would be stupid enough to step foot into the Fire Lord's daughter's room without her permission.

Nalu asked the panting woman, "Chia, are you okay?" and rubbed her back.

"Give me a minute; I haven't run that far or that fast in a very long time," Chia replied, taking a deep breath.

"I know, but we can't stay here for too long; that crazy bastard might find us again." Nalu said, trying to come up with a plan to get out of there alive. No matter how hard she tried, though, she couldn't see any way for them both to escape.

Chia was a normal civilian and had no training, so Nalu had two options; abandon Chia or stand and fight, giving her friend time to escape.

The female fire bender's mind went to a small blond-haired child with similar eyes and facial features similar to her own, Nalu's eyes hardened as a plan formed in her mind.

"Chia, I have a plan, but I'll need you to do as I say." Nalu stated with a calm voice.

Chia looked at her for a second before replying, "Okay, Nalu. I trust you." The woman replied with a small smile that made Nalu's heart hurt.

"Ok this is what I need you to do" Nalu said as she told Chia the plan.

Royal Palace Entrance...

Nalu's plan was simple; she wanted Chia to go outside to provide a distraction, while she would come to save her by attacking the enemies when all their attention was on Chia.

"Are you ready?" Nalu asked her friend, guilt starting to show on her face.

Chia gave her a sad smile, like she knew what her friend's real plan was. "I am ready as I will ever be," Chia replied as she reached the door to exit the room. She didn't turn around, but spoke. "Can you deliver a message to the fire temple for me, tell Neti that I love him?"

Before Nalu could respond, Chia exited the room and started running in one direction, making noise to get as much of the guards' attention as possible.

Nalu watched all that happen and started to feel sick; she had basically sent her friend to die to save herself, but she had to live – no matter what she had to take care of her little one.

Fast Forward...

Naruto had just made it into the Royal Palace when he heard some commotion coming from the palace gardens; what he saw there would shake not only the Fire Nation, but the world as a whole.

Gore Warning...

He saw five Fire Nation soldiers surrounding two injured figures; one was burned beyond recognition, while the other was soaked in his or her own blood.

It took Naruto a while to make out the bleeding figure was Chia, and to his horror, he realized the burned figure was Nalu after, there was a deafening silence that filled the area as everyone noticed he was there, including the bleeding Chia who managed to cry for help, snapping the blonde out of his shock.

A rage like he had never felt before, one that was only present when Kurama was within him, took over. He turned on one of the firebenders whose face was badly burned and tried to speak, but his head exploded as a blast of lightning shot through it.

One fire bender tried to speak, but the blonde wasn't in a listening mood and punched a hole in his chest, taking out his still-beating heart.

The other fire guards saw the blonde could be reasoned with attack with a blast of fire but the blonde covered himself with lightning and steppes right through it and ripped the head of the fire bender closest to him.

The last two tried to run but it was futile before they knew what happened the blonde was in front of them and they felt their body go numb as they fell to the ground they noticed their legs were still standing up and they realised the blonde cut them in half from their stomach.

Gore Over...

Naruto went over Chia as she gasped for breath with her collapsed lung, she somehow managed to find the strength to speak.

"The fire Lord wanted to use us as hostages to make you do whatever he says" Chia paused and has a coughing fit as mare blood flowed out of her mouth "but we would never allow ourselves to be used against you, we love you too much to let that happen"

Naruto was having a panic attack because he knew if he moved her, she would die; if he left her here, she would still die. Naruto looked over to Nalu who was dead, the blonde emotionlessly reasoned that if she was still alive she would be in agony until she eventually went insane from the pain.

"Please just stop talking, I will go get help and you will live," Naruto said, but Chia gave him a sad smile.

"We both know I'm going to die," Chia said as her eyes started to close and her breathing slowed, in her last moment of life she remembers how things turned out this way.

Flashback...

Chia ran through the Royal Palace shouting and making noise to attract the attention of those around her, but sadly it turned out to be the fire bender Nalu who had set the place on fire. He was not alone; he had four other armored guards with him.

There she is, that's one of the escaped prisoners," the insane guard said as he charged at Chia, who froze as she saw the crazed look in his eyes.

Torture/Gore Ahead...

"Wait," Chia said, giving up. The disfigured man didn't listen and punched her across the face, making her fall to the ground with a split lip. Coughing blood, she struggled to get back up.

"I am going to enjoy making you suffer bitch" he said with a mad chuckle making the other fire benders around uncomfortable but they didn't stop him.

The insane fire bender pulled out a curved knife and proceeded to stab her, making her scream in pain. Even when she begged him to stop, he didn't.

The disfigured man cut the poor woman over and over but made sure to not cut too deep so she wouldn't bleed out.

"Please stop, It hurts so bad" Chia begged through blood and tears "I will do anything you want just stop hurting me"

"Fine, I will stop hurting you if you suck all our cock you whore" the insane man said making Chia shudder in disgust.

"Please not that, anything but that" Chia begged but that seem to excite the disfigured man more as he was ready to put his pants down and force himself on her when suddenly another feminine voice stopped him.

"Leave her alone, you son of a bitch!" Nalu exclaimed, causing Chia to turn her head toward her. Chia knew Nalu's plan was to sacrifice her so she could escape; it made sense in a twisted sort of way, as Nalu is a trained firebender, her chances of escaping alone are much higher.

"There you are, you bitch! I'm going to use your skull as a cup after I'm done with you," the man said as he launched a barrage of fire at her.

"What are you idiots doing? Help me take her down now!" The insane man yelled.

The other firebenders reluctantly help the man defeat Nalu, the woman is on her knees in front of the man.

"Where is all you big talk now bitch" the disfigured man said but Nalu spit in his face enraging him even more.

"Die you bitch!" the man yelled as he gathered a huge amount of flames and released them at Nalu point-blank. The woman screamed in pain for a moment, but he didn't stop his attack until Nalu went silent and her burnt body lay motionless on the ground.

"No!" Chia exclaimed as she saw her friend getting cooked alive; the man laughed joyfully and started to make his way back to her.

Then a light filled the room and in came the Lightning General, Naruto Uzumaki. Chia didn't waste any time and called him for help; within seconds, all of the firebenders were dead, and Naruto was by her side, praying that this was all just a nightmare.

Torture/Gore Over...

Flashback End...

Naruto stood there surrounded by the dead bodies of his Lovers and the firebenders he had killed, but through the sorrow of his losses, one emotion surfaced and consumed him; a blinding, incontrollable rage.

Naruto screamed to the sky as lightning exploded from his body, he then gently placed Chia down and took one last look at Nalu's burnt body before disappearing, leaving sparks behind.
