Chapter 1: New Beginnings

Kanto Region [Pallet Town]

Naruto woke up extra early in order to catch his first Pokemon. The former resident of Konoha in the ninja world couldn't help but reminisce about how he ended up in a world filled with creatures of all kinds, each with incredible powers.

Flashback Scene Ahead

Elemental Nation

Konoha [Training Ground 11]

Naruto was trying to blow off some steam, he had failed his final exam in the academy in order to become a ninja. It was his first try and like usual everyone was against him.

The teacher had given him a test on things he hadn't taught Naruto, and when it came time for the clone test, the blonde couldn't create any perfect clones.

"So that brat failed, serves him right," one of the women who came to pick up her child at the academy said.

"Yeah, I don't know why they are letting that demon into the academy. The Hokage must be going senile in his old age." another woman said in a soft whispered voice.

"Don't talk about that, you know it is forbidden." The first woman said as she looked around worried and spotted Naruto a scowl suddenly came on her face.

Naruto just watched this, it was sad and Naruto had jealous eyes. He was sad because the village treated him as an outcast for some reason he didn't know, and he was jealous because he had no one to come for him in the academy being an orphan.

Naruto just ignored the villagers and made it to the training ground he was using now. Usually, he wouldn't be allowed to use it but the old man Hokage gave him permission.

The blonde Uzumaki was practicing his clone jutsu, which wasn't going well; all of his clones always came out dead-looking, making the academy student get frustrated.

Naruto trained until it got dark, but he was not able to improve on his clone jutsu much. However, he was able to do his transformation and replacement jutsu perfectly.

Exhausted Naruto didn't hear as an unknown figure sneaked up behind him, the blonde only felt a blow to the back of his head and then darkness took him.

In his unconscious state Naruto had a vivid dream of a nine-tailed fox cursing him as it grew weaker and weaker. It was like something was sucking the power from it, but in a desperate attempt to save itself, the fox went through hand signs and with a mighty roar, everything was bathed in light.

If Naruto were awake, he would have seen that he was on the ground in front of a giant statue with its hand in chains. Nine people were on each finger, and its eyes were closed; the mouth of the statue was open as it sucked out Naruto's chakra.

This world was on the verge of collapse with all the strongest warriors dead and from a the wars destroying nature, so the resulting chakra was weak; it wasn't worth the effort and suffering to Isshiki. So he just flicked it away and teleported to another planet that hopefully will be worth his time.

No one noticed that Naruto was sucked into a singularity created by the explosive force of the nine tails chakra.

This was the last time Naruto was seen in the Elemental Nations, with him gone, the village of Konoha celebrated to the old hokage's disgust but that soon changed as with the nine tails gone konoha was weakened and war broke out.

The five great ninja villages were destroyed, the planet was easy picking for an Otsutsuki that had been hidden in shadows, with chakra fruit in hand Isshiki Otsutsuki just gazed at the baren world in disappointment. After everything he went through with Kaguya's betrayal and having to recover in secret, it seemed like a waste of time now as he watched the peanut-sized chakra fruit in his hand.

Pokemon Universe

Kanto Region [Pallet Town]

Naruto awaken confused in a soft bed and he was greeted by Professor Oak and woman named Delia, apparently Naruto had been very injured when he arrived on Delia's doorstep.

The single mother rushed him to Professor Oak, and he was treated there. They thought he had been attacked by a wild Pokemon, which is common but usually not around Pallet Town.

When Uzumaki woke up and talked with Oak and Delia, he asked about the Elemental Nations and Konoha which made them confused. Then the professor asked him some questions; his eyes widened as he began to understand.

"I don't think you are from this dimension. It seems that somehow you have crossed dimensions and ended up here." The professor concluded, "It is rare for something like this to happen, but I heard that there are Pokemon that can travel through dimensions and even time."

Naruto was confused by what the professor said, but a glance at Delia showed him that he wasn't the only one. From what he understood, he was far from home.

"What is a Pokemon," Naruto asked curiously with his head tilted.

Oak gave a smile as he explained about Pokemon, making Naruto's eyes shine with interest.

"And that's the basics on Pokemon," Oak said, sweat dropping as he saw Delia fast asleep with Ash. Naruto was up and it seemed like he had taken in every word and memorized them.

Professor Oak knew from the look in Naruto's eyes that he wanted to be a Trainer. After waking up Delia, it was decided that the Uzumaki would stay with her for the time being as the Professor called in some favors to get Naruto registered as a citizen of Pallet Town.

Delia adopted Naruto after he told her of his upbringing. She was in tears and she cursed the people of Konoha, something that surprised Oak as the woman was one of the gentlest he knew.

Ash was excited to get an older brother, with him being 5 and Naruto 9, it would be the best time in Naruto's life as he was no longer an outcast but a potential trainer and the adopted son of Delia Ketchum making him Naruto Uzumaki Ketchum.

Flashback Scene End

Time flows by so fast, a year has already passed and Naruto is now eligible to become a trainer. So excitedly he ran out of the Ketchum home with Ash still in bed and a surprise Delia making breakfast.

"Hey, wait for breakfast, young man!" Delia yelled as she watched Naruto rush out of the house.

"Can't mom, I want to get there first to pick my first Pokemon." Naruto replied as he ran at chakra-enhanced speed to Professor Oak's lab.

Delia shook her head and smiled as she watched her son race to Oaks lab, he was such a sweet boy who was starving for love and attention, it makes his stomach turn when she thinks on how Konoha, his home village treated him.

Professor Oak's Lab

Naruto ran through the door, startling the professor who was getting the starter Pokemon ready to go with their new trainers.

"Naruto, you're early. I guess you can't wait to get your first Pokemon." Oak said with a laugh.

"Yes, professor, can I choose my first Pokemon please?" Naruto asked as he was so excited to get his first Pokemon.

"Sure, my boy. Usually you would have to choose between Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle, but recently it has been given Pikachu and Eevee as starters so you can have any of them since you are the first trainer here." Professor Oak replied as he led Naruto to five pokeballs.

Naruto looked at each of the Pokeballs and he knew which Pokemon he wanted instantly, so he took a ball in hand and smiled as he released the Pokemon inside.

"I choose you, buddies. Are you okay with traveling with me from now on?" Naruto asked the Pokemon who looked at him before nodding as Naruto returned it to its Pokeball.

"That was a great choice. Here is your Pokedex, which has a built-in map so you won't get lost. And here are six empty Pokeballs that you can use to catch the Pokemon you weaken." Professor Oak said as he handed Naruto everything "you better get home and prepare for your journey."

"Thank you, professor," Naruto said as he exited the lab and dashed back home. His stomach growled at him to show how hungry he truly was. "I hope mom saved some breakfast for me."

Ketchum House [Pallet Town]

Naruto ate breakfast with his little brother Ash and his mother Delia, who chewed him out for leaving earlier without eating.

"So what Pokemon did you choose for your starter," Delia asked as she was curious about what her adopted son chose.

"Yes, I want to see your Pokemon." Ash said excitedly.

Naruto and Delia chuckled at Ash's antics as he loved Pokemon and dreamed to become a Pokemon Master, something that the Uzumaki decided he will also aim for since he can no longer be Hokage.

"Okay, don't get too excited. Come on out." Naruto said as he released his starter Pokemon from its Pokeball.

"Eve evee," The Pokemon said as it saw everyone.

Naruto took out his Pokedex and aimed it at Eevee. Seconds later, the device started to give information on Eevee in a mechanical voice.

Eevee is a small, mammalian quadrupedal Pokemon with primarily brown fur. Eevee is rarely found in the wild and is mostly only found in cities and towns. It is said to have an irregularly shaped genetic structure that is easily influenced by its environment. This allows it to adapt to a variety of habitats by evolving.

Eevee Lv: 5

Gender: Male

Moves: Growl, Tail Whip, Tackle, Sand Attack

Naruto looked at Eevee as his mother and brother introduced themselves to it; the little Pokemon didn't look like much right now, but it had the most potential out of all the starter Pokemon.

Eevee can evolve into eight different forms depending on how it is raised and the use of an evolution stone. The blonde didn't know what he would evolve Eevee into in the future, but for now he had to train it so that it could win his first gym badge.

There is also the fact that Eevee would not have a type disadvantage in most of the Kanto gyms, and the first one Naruto planned to stop at is the Pewter City gym.

"Eevee, Eevee!" Naruto heard his Pokemon say as it rubbed its head against the blonde's leg, making him laugh and hug it.

"Aww, your Eevee is really friendly. Make sure to take good care of it." Delia said as she watched Naruto interact with his first Pokemon.

"I will mom you don't have to worry about that," Naruto said as he decided to let his family know what he was planning. "I am going to set out on my journey today after I eat breakfast and pack."

"What already," Ash exclaimed as he hoped his brother would spend a few days home before leaving.

"Sigh, I thought as much." Delia said as she got up and went to her room, she came back with a bag and handed it to Naruto "I figured that you would want to start your journey right away."

"Thank you, Mom. You're the best!" Naruto said as he took the bag and got ready to leave.

Delia watched Naruto go with amusement, she glanced at Ash and saw he had a look of jealousy on his face but the mother knew it was not aimed at her adopted son.

"Don't worry, sweetie. You will start your journey one day too. Just be patient." Delia said to her youngest as she rubbed his head.

"I know mom, but I want to be a Pokemon trainer and go on adventures too." Ash complained as he knew his time would come too, and he planned to be the very best Pokemon trainer and eventually the master.

Naruto's Room

Naruto had just finished packing. He saw his mother bought some Pokeballs and potions for him, things he will need in order to train his Pokemon while journeying to Pewter City.

The Uzumaki's next stop after leaving home would be the Viridian Forest, he would have to journey through it to get to the first gym.

On the way, the blonde planned to capture as many Pokemon as possible and keep the three strongest with him, which includes Eevee.

As Naruto got ready, he looked at himself in the mirror. He had changed since he came from Konoha. His whiskers were almost completely gone along with Kurama's chakra.

"Eevee eeevee," Naruto watched as his Pokemon play with a ball he had laying around.

"Eevee, it's time for us to move on." Naruto said as his Eevee jumped onto his right shoulder.

Back To Delia and Ash

Naruto reentered the room wearing his new clothes, which are a pair of blue jeans, a black shirt and with a hat that had a pokeball on it. He was also wearing his backpack.

"I see you found the new clothes and supplies I bought for you," Delia said teasingly to Naruto who blushed. He was still not completely used to a maternal show of affection.

"Thanks mom," Naruto said in a shy voice, making Delia laugh. Ash feeling left out joined the hug, making them all laugh happily.

"So are you ready for your journey," Delia asked as she pull back from the hug and looked into Naruto eyes.

"I am more than ready. I'm going to defeat all the gyms and the Elite Four, and become a Pokemon Champion." The Uzumaki replied with a confident face.

"That's good to hear. Well, do your best and I will always be proud of you." The single mother stated with a gentle look.

"Go out there and show them that we Ketchum's are not to be underestimate, big bro," Ash exclaimed.

"I will do that, little brother, and i will make sure to send all my trophies home." Naruto said equally excited as his little brother.

The family spent some time talking and saying goodbye until it was almost noon, and Naruto knew if he didn't leave now, it would be harder to do so later because he didn't want to be away from the people who are his new family.

"I guess this is it, I will be going now." Naruto said with a sad expression but he quickly hid it with a fake smile.

Delia saw this and knew that Naruto was trying to put on a brave face so that he could make them feel better. She gave him a kiss on the forehead.

"You are going to be fine, go out there and make us proud," Delia said as she watched Naruto tear up but quickly wiped it away "You are always welcome at home."

Naruto gave his family a smile and turned around toward the Viridian Forest, starting his Pokemon journey.

Viridian Forest

It didn't take long to reach Viridian Forest, Naruto looked around and this place reminded him of the forest around Konoha, his former home.

"We will be staying here for a few weeks and train to become stronger, buddy." Naruto said to his Eevee, who looked determined at the prospect.

Naruto looked around and found a Pokemon that looked like a walking plant. He pointed his pokedex at it, waiting to be told what exactly this Pokemon was.

Pokemon Name: Bellsprout Lv. 4

Bellsprout is a plant-like Pokemon resembling a pitcher plant, it have the ability Chlorophyll, which increases Bellsprout's Speed when it is sunny. It is said to ensnare its prey in its vines and devour it, and can also spit a highly corrosive fluid that can melt even iron.

"Are you ready for a battle, Eevee?" Naruto asked his starter Pokemon who jumped from his shoulder onto the ground, looking at Bellossom, who turned to them and was ready to battle.

"Eve eevee eve," the evolutionary Pokemon replied making Naruto grouse as while he didn't understand Pokemon language he understood what Eevee felt.

"Let's do this, Eevee use Growl," Naruto said as his Pokemon did as he ordered, lowering the attack of its opponent.

Bellsprout used Vine whip, but Eevee dodged it by rolling away from the attack and used Growl again to weaken the grass-type Pokemon's attack power further.

"Use Tail Whip, Eevee!" Naruto ordered and lowered Bellsprout's defense but was struck with a Vine Whip attack. Thankfully, it wasn't effective due to all the growls Eevee used earlier.

"Eevee use Tackle now," Naruto shouted and his Pokemon attacked Bellsprout with a powerful tackle sending it into a tree making it fall over.

The grass Pokemon tried to get up, but was attacked again by another tackle attack. Naruto didn't plan to give it a chance to recover.

"Go Pokeball," Naruto exclaimed as he threw one of his Pokeballs at Bellsprout. The grass Pokemon was enveloped in light and pulled into the Pokeball.

The pokeball shook for a second before it clicked, showing that Bellsprout was successfully captured, making Naruto and eevee jump in excitement.

"We did it, buddy! We caught our first Pokemon." Naruto said as he hugged Eevee, who rubbed its cheeks against his face.

"Eevee, eevee!" The Pokemon said happily as they celebrated the first Pokemon they caught together.

"That was great, Eevee! Now let's heal you and find a place to camp." Naruto said as he used a potion. His starter Pokemon wasn't badly hurt, but with them surrounded by wild Pokemon, it was best to have Eevee ready for anything.

Naruto looked for a place in the forest so that he could set up camp. He wanted to capture more Pokemon and heal them before leveling them up, then going to Pewter City gym.

"So far so good, we have to get stronger in order to stand on top of the Pokemon world and become a Pokemon master." Naruto said out loud. "After a few weeks, we will go to Pewter City and the gym leader there wouldn't know what hit him."
