Just finished listening to this. I really feel heard. I have really bad anxiety. A lot of the time it feels like I have to fight my anxiety just to get myself to do simple tasks that most people can do without thinking. For the longest time, it felt like my anxiety was my enemy. More recently, I've tried treating my anxiety as another person and talking to them to understand why I freak out over things. I then reassure that part of myself by listing exactly how I'll respond if things go wrong. This helps immensely. It's really draining but it's much better than constantly fighting with part of myself.
