Heya,

Nothing exciting in term of gameplay today. I spent a fair amount of time polishing a new UI so it's far better in term of visuals and navigation. The old UI was getting out of touch and was giving a very "prototype" kind of feel. 

First, I added a main menu instead of  jumping straight to the settings. I also added a button to get back to the title screen, something that was lacking since the beginning. 

I also added little sound effect to each button so you can have a feedback of what you're doing. This sound trivial, but it's the kind of little thing that really help with the "polished"feeling. 


The options menu was also totaly rewamped. I added a little description to each component so you can have precisions on what it's doing, and I added a "Controls" panel that will host keybinding options. 

Last but not least, the diary was really poor and, to be honest, not working as I wanted. I scrapped it and redid it entirely with a new system so it's far easier for me to add stuff.


Instead of displaying only one message to hint at where you should go, I decided to make a "real" diary where you get your current state, but also have an history of what you did so far. 


I also splitted it into the "main story", and "Side stories", which will be used for major side quests like the diaper secret club. 

I hope this way, it will be easier to track what you did and where you should be going.
