You know guys, maybe if you are so worried of losing some plot point because of it getting rivisited too late you could keep some notes like you did with AoT. That way maybe you could enjoy more focusing on the current events without having to keep you brain constantly occupied trying to remember every plot point not still fully closed. For some reactors it helps quite a lot.

So uhhh, is now a good or a bad time to mention that the author confirmed that his parents in reality are extremely depressed because they haven't been able to find Subaru. They have been constantly searching for him and have even involved the police, but to no avail.

I think they keep a notebook offscreen and they might be filling it during editing or rewatch maybe? To avoid missing comments/scenes while taking notes, or having to pause the video which makes the "full episode" time sync hard for some. I also know for a fact that they read comments when we remind them of stuff, we're their second layer of a "notebook", even if we can remind them of stuff only once per 2 episodes, and of course they have to be careful of spoilers.

What's worse is when you think about how many novels there are that arent made into anime yet, and the wait time between anime seasons, and the fact that his parents are looking for their son (implying time didn't just freeze there, but keeps going), then add that to the fact that author is saying this still now... just imagine how much time has passed for parents looking for their kid that they last saw as "depressed and isolated and given up on the world"... for all they know, he yeeted himself somewhere, and their depression and desperation is not only for being worried about not finding him yet, but also about not finding him EVER. And now go back and think about how the dad and mom were trying their best to give their son the independance to snap out of it himself, but watching from a distance, suddenly this entire flashback and "Cute moments" and "motivational" moments from the loose cannon dad and loose screws mom... those suddenly go from supporting and motivational good parenting to THEM thinking that they failed their son and didn't support him and interve more directly and micromanaged the situation... they probably blame themselves for everything now, and there's a chance that they may never get answers if subaru stays in that world and never sees them again.

Be patient. Roll with the show. Roll with the punches. You don't need to ask for answers. They'll be given. The Roswaal shit is awesome this season. Give your memory capacity more credit, guys. I'm sure you can remember the details if you commit them to memory more. Also, I don't get the hate for Otto. What did he do? lol. Quote of the reaction from Carlie: "Who's Su?!?!?!"

Yeah idk. When I watch shows I don't constantly worry about keeping plot points in my mind. I kinda just have faith in my brain to remember things when they become relevant again. It might be because I really do pay attention when watching media, though.

But I think the hate on Otto comes from the fact that he chose to throw Subaru out of the carriage in one of the loops to save himself from the whale. And I think ange and Carlie look at Otto as a self-preserving self-prioritizing two-faced person. But again, I think the thing beat that we missed in that loop about Subaru and Otto, it's that they didn't interact much and as far as Otto knows, Subaru is a crazy person talking about this rem girl that was with them in the cart (seriously who is even rem?) and saying crazy things like other carriage people disappearing (because Otto forgot about them due to whale mist). So from Otto perspective, this crazy Subaru person that nearly beat him up and talking nonsense and asking to go back into the frey and then admitting that the whale is after him... From Otto point of view this person is just some rich bitch that offered him a bag of money and may be involved with something too much for them (again, because of memory wipe). And so Otto threw him off board because he didn't trust him, because frankly Subaru didn't give him a reason to trust him either. I think even Subaru understood that and that's why he didn't hold a grudge on Otto in future loops. But I think that's where ange and Carlie still feeling concerned about Otto.

Same here. I almost never keep a notebook but then again between seasons or long waits, I watch reactions channels so it keeps info on my brain but also it gives me different perspectives on that info sometimes. Even if the details varies by 0.01 degrees in terms of perspective angle, it's sometimes enough to tip over and create a momentum of tin foil theories or connecting new dots together. And sometimes this can happen to them when reacting to their themselves when editing. I remember times when Carlie and ange miss something in the reaction itself and then the next episode during the intro they would say that they realized something in editing. But what I do know is that I've seen Carlie and ange say in post-discussions that they also discuss the shows offline between themselves. So maybe that's enough to keep info fresh for the most part. Not to mention that they see so many different animes that I hear ange saying that he recognizes anime patterns or "my inner anime vibes" or "anime trope meter is kicking in" so they may have just ascended to subconsciously absorbing more anime tropes with less effort and focus on the lore related stuff instead. One can say that ange and Carlie have been sitting in SSJ1 golden super Saiyan form for too long that their brain and body subconsciously adapted to the toll it takes on them so they can sustain the anime trivia without any loss in stamina :p
