Pro tip: Something important with this show is to keep different perspectives (of characters) in mind as well as what constitutes "common sense/what's normally expected" when watching interactions. Especially with Subaru being the only one who seems to remember what is happening in all these instances jumping back in time. A lot of the time Subaru is operating on information and instances that only he is aware of, which you've seen confuses other characters.

you two should really watch ep 4 then switch to the directors cut unless you really want the extra videos from the split version. the directors cut has corrective editing changes, reanimated scenes and an aditional scene or two in a certain episode

I think this has to be one of those "read every line of subtitles that appears on screen" anime. There's time to react in between.
