More Haikyuu! In real volleyball, the dump attack is also used from time to time as a fake and it's always cool to watch. Actually, the taller the setter, the easier for him to do a dump attack, because his normal setting position is already over the net, so it's very difficult to read whether he'll set it or dump it... "Gianelli" from Italy is a great example. He's 2 meters tall (6'-7") :)

It did sound like a threat didn't it? 😂 But Oikawa believes 100% in his team and they believe in him, he doesn't need to threaten anyone. Plus him and Iwazumi are best friends, best friends push each other like that. Oikawa is definitely a great antagonist and a skillful player, he loves Volleyball like the rest of them. He's one of my favorites in the show.

I love your reactions. I personally think the MVP is Kageyama, the other setter is known for being elite and thinking his skills were above everyone elses. Yet Kageyama not only observed and learned, but executed a skill on the spot he'd never used before from the setter he was challenging. That combined with Kageyama's past and how he interacted with his team before now showed incredible skill and growth.

I would give Ukai MVP, he was great this episode. The conductor analogy, the motivational speech to the team and him staying up late to study Seijohs' match. All this from someone who at first vehemently refused to coach them. Plus i'm pretty sure he's doing it all without getting paid for it…(except the drink that Takeda buys him lol)
