We LOVED (and despised at times) this show! Thank you so much for suggesting it to us. It was a very elegantly written series with some beautiful music and animation. We will react to the movie(s). We are away this weekend but you can expect it next week!

86 will likely be replacing Violet Evergarden in September!

the movie, you need to watch Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll first, then the final one are the violet evergarden the movie.. also, if the next series are 86, then it will another tear again lol

Gosh, I love this show (and hate it). They got me to a point where even seeing the damn umbrella or hearing the marvellous theme gave me teary eyes... I haven't seen the movies yet, but I am gathering my emotional strengh to "survive" them! 😂 Thanks a lot for the great reactions. So happy I could make this journey with you! ❤️

One of the best and most beautiful anime :). Violet Evergarden The Movie is the sequel of the series and the end of the story. Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll is a side-story.

You guys have now been culturally enriched and well-seasoned as anime watchers, after experiencing such an astounding piece of the medium. From action to drama, mystery, comedy, experiencing Violet Evergarden is like finding that missing piece of the puzzle you didn't know you were missing until then. 86 is definitely a great choice to follow-up this series.
