Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. It's completed, 2 seasons, Stand Alone from the main Mobile Suit Gundam story, has all the emo drama and badass moments, and one of the most charming main characters in years.

DudeTrue

I'd like to preemptively apologize for the length of this, and if you happen to read the whole thing then thanks for your time. That said, I know Ange has only seen a little bit of DBZ: Abridged and isn't convinced it would be a worthy investment of your time (at least so far as the channel goes). I am hopeful that I might change your mind. The show is broken-up into three seasons (with a bunch of the movies on the side as well), and production took place over the span of about 8 years. The three seasons respectively being The Saiyan Saga (10 episodes), The Namek Saga (20 episodes), and the Android/Cell Saga (30 episodes). TeamFourStar employs their own voice talents as well as hiring other amazing content creators to work with them. When the main four guys started off they were new to voice acting, writing, video editing, sound editing, and everything else. But as you progress everything gets better and better until you realize that not only is it top-tier comedic content but a genuine love-letter to the series in a way that consistently brings tears to the eyes. The beginning is a little rough, and TeamFourStar has admitted on many occasions that *some* of the jokes haven't aged so well - but you'll start to see real improvement fairly quickly. Watching this version of the series not only grows to rival that of official dubs/edits, but shows you the journey of how a team of passionate Dragon Ball fans came together and really put forth their all to show loud and proud just how much the show means to all of us. I would personally put it among my favorite shows of all time along with Dragon Ball and DBZ themselves. All for different reasons, but I can guarantee that the heart is really there in DBZ:A and you can feel it. If you made it this far, I really appreciate you hearing me out. Maybe some day you all will consider checking it out, even if C&A don't end up watching it with us. And to C&A specifically - u guyz da best <3

Hunter x Hunter. Amazing characters, amazing storylines and one of the best arcs you'll ever witness.

Bocchi the Rock - Hidden gem of 2022. Music Band anime with alot of comedy and a very relatable MC. Pretty popular in the slice if life scene

Re:Zero is a must!

Robin Gonzalez

"86" or "Fate/Zero" would be really fun

Avatar: The Last Airbender!!! My favorite show as a child. It really taught me a lot about dealing with grief, loss and responsibility. Not to mention the characters are really well written. It’s definitely not all serious though! The story is filled with so much fun and playfulness. Right up your alley imo.

Zavooloo

Tower of God Fire Force

Fluorescent Opal

Konosuba: A fun comedy that makes fun of the isekai genre. Currently 2 seasons, a movie, and a spin-off season. Avatar the last air bender: A wonderful and amazing show. One of my absolute favorites. About the same length as FMA:Brotherhood. Arcane: While not technically anime it is a very short series that has excellent writing and art direction. It’s only 9 episodes long.

Aaron Wright

Eighty six as always

Hunter x hunter or mob psycho. Believe you both would enjoy either very much as they’re some of the best

Anonymous

hunter x hunter or death note

Unknown

Mob Psycho/ My Hero Academia/ HxH seem like the next natural choices for the "Shonen" slot, as for Romance/Slice of life I recommend My dress up darling and Horimiya. Also since you guys enjoyed other stuff other than Shonen I also recommend watching 2 great anime movies "Your Name" and "A silent voice".

Bleach Naruto One Piece it's time for the big 3

Solo Chey

Please start hunter x hunter. I’m sure you guys will love it.

StackCanary

Made in abyss is really good. One of most interesting settings/concepts I've found in any media really. Bends your mind and your soul.

Anonymous

Made in Abyss

Steve.

Bocchi the Rock. Superb animation, hilarious, and has realistic depictions of musical instruments and what it’s like being in a band. It’s also fairly short, only 12 eps are out at this point

Anonymous

Please watch Jojos bizarre adventure. You never have seen something like that. Trust me.

Merfhew

I'm hoping that the poll will stick to shorter shows. I'm seeing a lot of requests for Hunter x Hunter, but that would take a long time to get through. Before anyone says it, yes, longer shows do exist, but any 100+ episode series will take us beyond 2023. They've already committed to watching Haikyuu, which is also a long series, so I think it makes sense to look at shorter shows.

Adan Aban

MUSHUKU TENSEI!!!, there is a great content opportunity because a new season just came out

Merfhew

Re:Zero will probably be on the poll, and that's one of my favorite shows, so I'll be voting for that in all likelihood. I'd prefer Akudama Drive, but that's unlikely to win a poll. Most people vote for the shiny new series and/or popular shonen jump stuff, so a lot of great shows fall under the radar. If, against all odds, Akudama Drive were to make it in the poll, I'd be so happy. It's a 12-episode series that takes place in a dystopian, cyberpunk world. The government assigns the name "Akudama" to certain criminals, and a group called the "Enforcers" are tasked with keeping the peace. Topics include morality, criminal justice, and the bystander effect.

Anonymous

I definitely second Hunter x Hunter.

Anonymous

Also Hinamatsuri if you wanna watch a comedy. It's a near perfect show, and barely any reactors are watching it!

Anonymous

Golden Kamuy is a very underrated yet easy binge watch. Very comedic and I think up your alley with dry/tasteful humour. It’s also very educational when it comes to learning about the Japanese/Russian war and Northern Japanese History. I admire how they put effort into Traditional Ainu people and their culture within the show. Also for Carlie…. Mate! I’m tellin ya… it’s full of big Dilf energy

Master Nayan

Hunter x Hunter if you guys don't mind the journey, probably the best shounen

Merfhew

It's very popular, it has a decent amount of name recognition, and it comes from a great author, but unless you're sharing a personal opinion, calling it the "best shounen" seems fairly subjective. But, again, if that's just your opinion, I can respect it.

86, top tier music, animation, story, direction and emotional beats, best mech anime

Anonymous

I recommend “Erased”! It’s only 12 episodes and is really Underappreciated in the reaction community, so I think you guys would be bringing in a much needed fresh perspective to the series. The characters are great and you’ll be fully invested by the end of the first episode, so I definitely recommend :)

Anonymous

Maybe not the best show for viewership but Baccano! is super underrated. Its a murder mystery/whodunit where each episode follows a different character. Even though I prefer sub it also has one of the best dubs of all time.

Anonymous

Strong +1 for Mob Psycho -- I think it's the second-best anime ever made, after Kaguya. Nichijou is an excellent comedy series -- well-written, with god-tier animation. Gravity Falls is a western cartoon with anime energy and a lot of laugh-out-loud moments.

Anonymous

I recommend Fire Force for the stunning visuals and memorable characters and their interesting motivations. Put simply, the plot is about a superhuman firefighter force that formed in order to deal with supernatural fire incidents in a post-apocalyptic world. The MC is Shinra Kusakabe, the newest recruit to the 8th Special Fire Brigade who dreams of saving the world. It has a lot of mystery and world-building.

K_How

Dang, this is a great one. I can only hope someone eventually picks this. It is a treasure

K_How

Erased: Amazing mystery show with a twist. Horimiya a sweet romance anime that will make you smile. My Dress Up Darling has another amazingly sweet highschool romance. Baccano is a anime about american mafia and alchemist, it’s so fun. Rascal doesn’t dream about Bunny Girl Senpai, amazingly clever and well written dialogue with likable characters.

Clayton

My hero academia, although I have read it here already, and the fanbase may be considered toxic, its up there with the big names in Anime and popularity lists, it has emotional moments, characters you will get attached to and loads of action, negative might only be that there are six seasons out already,so it is quiet the ride, with the 7th coming next year, but I think you would be in time for it‘s release pretty much😄

TomNook

My hero academia, Bochi the rock, hells paradise

Black Clover! It's shonen at its finest with some of the best team combat I've seen!

Surgenium

Short, compelling, finished stories with incredible animation: Dororo (24 episodes), Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song (13 episodes), Re:Creators (22 episodes). Among the more popular and longer anime titles: Black Clover, Hunter X Hunter, Mob Psycho, or My Hero Academia.

Love to see reactors do old Studio Bones shows like Wolf's Rain or Eureka Seven.

Made In Abyss, while there are some scenes containing mild nudity you might be a lil put off by, the show won Anime of the year 2018, which was a good year for anime. It's likely the "darkest" show in terms of themes out there that is still good (others go dark but most lack a real story). The soundtrack is PHENOMENAL, get Ange to listen to "hanezeve caradhina" and I'm sure he'll fall in love. The composer for every track is "Kevin Penkin" an Australian man too! There are some scenes most people will be like "eh lil weird", but it's cause the author wrote it to be a regular show, e.g. it doesn't shy away from mentioning (not showing) body parts. I'm sure if y'all watch it and at the least finish season 1, y'all will know if it's for you. (I'm more than betting my membership it is lol) You should have 0 troubles with Patreon copyright, and as for YouTube copyright just be careful with the scenes with more vocal music. It can get claimed semi-easily, but it'll be obvious to avoid that anyhow. I think Made In Abyss will inevitably make it onto the channel someday. as a winner of Anime of the Year awards and as a top 50/100 anime + a genuinely good show. To be personal: I used to watch a ridiculous amount of anime, I slowed and lost passion cause a lot of stuff felt similar (Think how chainsaw man and JJK kinda have similar stories), after being stubborn I bit my lip and watched Made In Abyss (seen 400~ anime at the time) and it fully reignited said passion!

Bocchi the rock! Kind of slice of life of a band with some comedy on it. A great feature since you were bamboozled with Oshi no ko being a happy show lol

WuXian Suibian

These recommendations are some hidden gems... Run with the Wind (23 episodes) - slice of life/sports anime that is about a rag tag University/college track team. I love the fact that it is about older characters and not your typical high school characters. The animation is goo, the OST is great, the character development is good and it runs the emotional gambit. Although it is about sports is not strictly about the sports, it just what ties the characters together. Link Click (11 episodes for season 1., season 2 will start on July 14) - Mystery/supernatural. Now this is NOT an anime it is a Chinese Donghua (basically Chinese Animation). The Original language is Chinese but has English Subs (Crunchyroll). The writing on this story is very tight and efficient, they characters, plot and animation style unique. I could compare it to something else you recently watched but that would give away one of the interesting plot points. Honestly, should give it a try for something different, I think you'd be surprised at how good it is.

Slim Cognito

I would recommend Mob Psycho 100 but you guys usually only do subs but that dub is fantastic. It's got mad animation for the action scenes but it's really all about the heart of the characters especially Mob. Plus Ange will love Reigen as he's the Loosest of units.

Anonymous

Game of thrones???

Clownsie

Soul Eater is very Fullmetal Alchemist vibes and... Ange will be very happy with the first episode >_> Otherwise: Sing a Bit of Harmony is a movie which feels 100% Disney and you will LOVE it guaranteed.

Anonymous

I would recommend Fruits Basket , MobPsycho100 , My Hero Academia and Hunter x Hunter.

AMAN

Hell's Paradise. Part of the dark trio: jujutsu kaisen, chainsaw man and Hell's Paradise

MacPiranha

Mob Psycho 100 (dub), Hunter X Hunter (either), or if you want a classic that retains amazing animation and story try Samurai Champloo (another great dub)

rabbit

Code Geass

andrebadass

legend of korra <3

iJonShuffle

My Hero Academia, it'll keep y'all occupied for a while (6 seasons and counting), deep cast, lots of great character development, good/sad feels, and great action.

iJonShuffle

I legit have been hoping to rewatch this show from the start with y'all.

Redback

Made in Abyss 🙌🙌 or HxH

Fruits Basket 2019 is a great anime series. This is a slice of life anime with comedy, romance and has some supernatural themes. There are some heavy topics and sad moments in this anime but the cast is amazing and it has great character development. Highly recommended this anime.

Bocchi the rock! Band, Healing, Great music!

Assassination Classroom! I adore the show and find it has a great mixture of comedy, action, and heartfelt moments

FrizFroz

For a popular title, I have to say Mob Psycho 100. A modern classic. One of the best series of the past decade, with 3 seasons of goodness. Mob is a psychic equivalent of Saitama, but what OPM lacks in character depth, MP100 has in spades. It has everything from crazy battle sakuga to hilarious exchanges, but most of all it is a series with a big heart. My next recommendation would be Made in Abyss, but I’m honestly not sure how you would handle this one because things get rather dark. For a wild card pick, I’d recommend Odd Taxi. Not as popular as other recommendations, but short, sweet, and succinct; it wraps up beautifully in 13 episodes with no strings attached. A murder mystery involving a walrus taxi driver as a reluctant protagonist, but with next to nothing to do with animals. It is a mature show that belies its innocent appearance by respecting audience intelligence and asking the viewer many questions, all while having most of the answers hiding in plain sight - if you only knew where to look. I guarantee fun discussions with this one!

Not an anime but it's easily the best choice. Avatar the last airbender

I would recommend: Bocchi the Rock - It's nice to have a light hearted show amongst the mix of reactions. This one is a personal favorite with the music, the artistic expression in many scenes, the slight "I understand this characters social anxiety" to an extent. I went into it fairly blind and it became a great comedic hit. (genre: comedy) Mushoku Tensei - This one is kind of the grandfather of the "Isekai" genre in anime and manga. Isekai meaning characters are somehow transported into another world. The novels came out a while ago, but they created a new animation studio specifically to adapt the novel/manga into an anime. The animation is gorgeous as your sent into a whole new world filled with magic, monsters and adventure. I don't believe you've reacted to an Isekai anime yet, but this one is a great place to start. (genre: drama, fantasy, isekai, at points a bit lewd) Wotokoi: Love is hard for an Otaku - Another fairly light hearted anime about two adults in an office environment who are both otaku's trying to have a relationship and its ups and downs. This one was a nice change of pace amongst all the high school themed anime, made it easier to relate to as I grew older. (genre: romantic comedy)

Sasha

Hunter x Hunter!

Talon

Ms Kobayashi's Dragon Maid is really heartwarming and a lot of fun. It was done by Kyoani (who also did Violet Evergarden)

Ray

Has anyone recommended The Promised Neverland?

Stormageddon Thomason

Fate Zero and Fate: Stay/Night Unlimited Blade Works Some of the best anime I’ve ever seen

Belinda

I'm honestly about to cry that you're going to react to Hiakyuu. MY FAVORITE KIDS. YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE ALL OF THEM.

Belinda

sorry what was the question??? :D :D

If you want to cry over something heartbreaking and impactful: Kotaro Lives Alone If you want to laugh over something campy and nsfw: Grand Blue (Dreaming)

Konosuba is my favorite of all time. Fun anime all around. Can I suggest overwatch cinematics? Or is this anike only suggestions? If. Y chance you choose to try out the overwatch cinematics, watch them in release order.

ZckFox

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is a classic sci-fi police procedural thriller. This is also one where the dubs are really good.

Anonymous

Code Geass is the best anime!

Anonymous

I've got some interesting ones in my opinion. 'Link Click' for example (with some of the best OP and ED I've heard so far!). another anime that got me incredibly emotional is '86 Eighty Six' I love the show (and the ost's hit my heart!). and tho you're watching haikyuu there are two sports anime that I want to mention. Kuroko no Basket obviously and Blue Lock!!!!!!! both are so intense!! and I'm reading the blue lock manga after watching the anime and it just gives me the chills nonstop! every show is worth the time. have a good day!

Anonymous

I strongly recommend you two watch 'My dress up darling' it's about romance between a shy but talented boy named Gojo and pretty, lovely but clumsy with cosplay girl named 'Marin'

Anonymous

It shows us not only the cute and beautiful loves of them but also how deep and complicated the real cosplay/cosplayer world is

Raphael

In no particular order... The Eminence In Shadow Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear The Irregular at Magic High School

Elaine Hu

There are so many, but these 2 reactions are so hard to find: Ranking of Kings - the most wholesome, touching fantasy adventure of a young disabled prince going against all odds to fight his fate. 2 seasons. Inuyashiki - modern day, shows what happens when superpowers fall into the hands of good and bad. 1 season to end.

defaulticus

Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin. Such an underrated gem needs much more attention by reactors

Anonymous

Avatar the Last Airbender for sure, its one of the most complete shows ever. Goat characters, goat music, goat dynamics, goat storyline.

N M

parasyte: the maxim! 24 episodes, one of the best animes out there! It has really interesting psychological themes mixed with thrill and horror leaving many cliff hangers at the end of the episodes. It explores ideas of what makes a human and what makes a monster.

fr0st

Erased is a shorter mystery with time travel if you're into that sort of thing.

Maya Coleman

Blue lock because this sports anime is really good and angelo will like it because it is very competitive.

Fajar Kurniawan

Made in Abyss. Just another wholesome dark fun sad anime. but usually after finishing FMAB, reactors continue with Death Note. To complete the classic anime saga

Eivind

Death Note: great cat vs. mouse mindgame anime, with an interesting twist.

Julia

Tensei shitara slime datta ken - man reincarnates into a slime into another world

Russ

Have you guys ever seen a Gundam show? The latest one, Witch From Mercury, is a standalone and the perfect one for bringing in a new audience! I highly suggest it, really great animation and music, and awesome characters and story/world. It's on crunchyroll I believe.

⭐️—_—💧

Fate Zero • Fate Stay Night • Kunusuba • Food Wars • Naruto • Erased • Parasite • and Gravity Falls (not an anime but an animation) difference: anime: made from japan animation: anywhere except japan

Teke

Reincarnated as a Slime, feel good anime with amazing characters

Rodrigo Reyes Escobar

Very late but maybe, That time I got Reincarnated as a Slime. Or Komi Can't Communicate

Carlin James

i think reacting to naruto will increase your patreon membership and views - but it'll take you probably 6-7 months to watch all 1000 episodes
