You were correct, Hawkeye's tattoo is her Father's flame alchemy research.

😂😂 The hawkeye back discussion. However, remember Roy didn’t know flame alchemy when the father was alive, he only taught him the basics of alchemy. Then he said his daughter is in procession of the flame alchemy research (which we see on her back) and for him to look after her before he dies. And then Roy can use flame alchemy. Anime is usually very tell and not show and more explicit and less implicit but FMA was being unusually subtle here.

A little reminder that may and al are basically the same age (13 and 14), something that’s sometimes forgotten because how bloody tall al is . But yeah when I watched this show when I was like 10 I always used to ship them so I always find it cute when they talk like that c:

aaaaaaaah, the whole riza back discussion... *impatiently patiently waiting for episode 54* // on another note i haven't seen anyone say it so i must. BUT IN THE MANGA- talking seriously, this is one of the episodes that feels like a huge injustice to the manga. arakawa dedicated a whole tome to talk about the war and in there we get to see a bit of winry's parents too. i really hate that they erased them, considering how important they are to the story. it also explains better why roy decided to stay and fight in ishval.

This is the one series I can't give spoiler free clarifications, because I can't tell if they missed something or if the details appear in a future episode as all of the details are in a mixture in my head.. I so want to explain Riza's back's story but I feel it is revealed in a future episode. What I do want to mention tho is that the Xingese were adament that Alchemy and Alkahestry were different, but the Amestrians handwaved them as a type of Alchemy focussed on healing. And Father's technique disabled the abilities of Alchemists. Those are the dots, connect 'em.

Just a quick question, perhaps it's been addressed before but I'm a recent member to this glorious Patreon channel... Did something go awry between episodes 25 and 30? Not criticizing in the least imma big fan of the two of y'all I'm just kind of curious. And by all means if it's me just being an idiot and not navigating correctly let me know.

It would be easier to find them through either using the filter at the top page in the main section selecting the month of June since they were uploaded this month.
