MADHOUSE

I feel the show really comes alive once the Hero Association is introduced. The first 4 episodes are more like an introduction to the show, and it really picks up from here. About the parodies/references this episode, and this is purely my perspective on the matter, but I think Sonic is just a parody of ninjas appearing in anime. He could even be a reference to the show, Naruto, due to how popular the show is but I can't say for sure. And as the others stated, Ere- shares the same VA as Sonic. As for Hammerhead, he's one of those character tropes in anime where the character comes across as a little airheaded despite all the muscle and strength. You may see this trope more often in future shows (more of an older trope). Funny thing is, the VA for Hammerhead always plays characters similar to that character. Loud, somewhat strong, but a little dumb. The VA is basically type casted for those roles. Sorry, final VA fun fact: Gojo's VA also voices Mumen Rider, the fan favorite character.
