Aki can only peek a bit into the future using his contract. So he was constantly using it during his fight, which was why he was bossing it until the Ghost arms overwhelmed him :)

Aki having 2 years left means at most he'll live for 2 more years but it doesn't mean he cant die before then. Also he was using the future devils power the entire fight there with the ghost, he can peek into the future and that's it like the future devil said but then its up to him whether he can react to it or not.

I'm guessing Makima has contracts with multiple devils. Maybe this was the power of a Nosebleed Devil. I hate nosebleeds. lol

Sawatari, red hoodie girl, didn't make a contract with the ghost devil rather the snake devil has the ability to summon devils its eaten when Sawatari says "spit it out". That's why her nose was bleeding, it was implying the spit it out ability takes a larger sacrifice than just a nail and does internal damage.

Think you missed the part where makima said they got someone in the agency who can return the eyes to the people. So it was more of a threat "Listen or they will be blind forever, help us with the names and we return their eyes" One more clearup point about the yakuza. Some of the yakuza guys made a deal with the gun devil, in exchange of helping the gun devil, the gun devil gives them guns and 20.000 yen. I think you misunderstood it the other way arround with them giving him 20.000 yen ;)

Im so glad they changed the subtitle, originally the future devil said that aki's death would "fucking rule" which isnt a good translation nor does it fit, so glad

It does fit, for someone who's morbid enough to be excited about it. It's like saying "Your death is gonna be fucking awesome [to me]!" Of course we as humans might not think that way, but a devil? It's very believable that one could be excited about what they perceive to be a crazy/fire/dope death. That's how I read it.

(POSSIBLE SPOILER, READ WITH CAUTION) I do agree, but it also differed from the manga, in the manga it's basically says "you'll die in the worst way possible" so I feel like him saying it'll "rule" just doesn't fit, I do understand they because he's a devil, he has a more morbid way of thinking, so I understand what you mean.

it's seems to be only a matter of perspective in how this is interpreted from what i've read so far in comments. "the worst way possible" view seems to be that it'll be some gruesome death with no point or glory/honor, while "will fucking rule" seems to be that he'll go out in some blaze of glory. In either case, to me at least, both options are semantically the same. Regardless of the actual outcome though is that the devil here is intrigued enough to view it first hand.

Personally I think the new one fits better since even though yes the future devil will enjoy Aki's death, in the moment I feel he was more trying to intimidate and scare Aki and not just that he wants to be there when it happens.

(HUGE SPOILER BELOW) (REALLY) (LAST CHANCE) In the gun devil arc at the end the future devil say something like "you died in the worst way....for chainsaw boy". So I'm glad they changed the phrasing.
