LOL Yeah watching the first episode reaction was a rollercoaster, the show is pretty good at introducing you to the context but alot of subtext is missing from not being somewhat familiar with the game since it is a prequel to a year old game but yeah the future is screwed up, corporations rule and people talk funny.

I looked it up, “meat and potatoes” saying means pretty much means “ordinary but fundamental things” well according to google lol, I always thought it meant down to the good stuff as well Ange 😂

as far as slang goes you also have "Nova" and "preem" which are like cool and awesome =) well something very good and positive anyways. Also one easy word - eddies. Slang for Eurodollars.

2022-12-30 18:03:20 Love the diversity of race and the music as well in this show! We need more Hip Hop, Rap, R&B, and them spanish artists in certain anime! Like rock, metal, and pop are cool, but spicing it up with more diversity in music taste is always the way to go! One thing that Cyberpunk ER does a lot better than other anime. Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece got lots of diversity characters and music too, so I can also give awesome props for those amazing shows as well

They should definitely try out watching one of the Big 3. I’d personally love to see them react to One Piece if the episode count doesn’t scare them. Perhaps they could react to the OP openings and see if it catches their eye. Frankly speaking though any of the Big 3 will take them on an emotional roller coaster, I just find One Piece a step above.

Have to agree with martina. They are way too overhyped because of nostalgia. Also, you can't seriously expect them to commit to a show with 200, 500 or even 1000+ episodes.

You are both right. "Meat and Potatoes", usually refers to getting to the core or foundation of the story. No more side quests, we are embarking on the main story of the game.
