It’s amazing how wonderfully this episode parallels the first. The absolute amount of devastation and lack of knowledge of the enemy's plan on Marley’s side is a reflection of Shiganshina. It’s even more tragic when you realize that this attack was in LIBERIO. The home of the Eldians in Marley. Meaning that it was mostly just Eldian blood being spilled in both attacks. They truly are just tools of war and meat shields in the eyes of Marley.

I dont think its a silly thing to do as Gabi lost her friends and as she said everything she ever fought for was destroyed in an instant. If the same thing happened to you, u wudnt be able to keep ur composure and regroup, not to mention shes literally a kid. People hate Gabi for the same reason they love Eren. As u said Gabi is literally Eren from 1st season but we love Eren

Eren is also the main character that we’ve grown to love over the course of 3+ seasons. Gabi has displayed similar characteristics to Eren but all we’ve really seen her do is try to throw away all her potential by running blindly into the scouts all to kill the person that spared her. Which happened to be the potato queen herself. We by no means hate Gabi, but this might help clarify our stance! Im sure with more time, we’ll love Gabi!

I mean, for me, Gabi is not anywhere near my favorite character, but I do think the way Isayama is using her in his writing is pretty genius.

I think it's important for a lot of us to understand that Carlie & Ange are still in the process of watching this anime, and do not have the same knowledge that all of us do with a lot of these new characters. In that same light, their thoughts and feelings on these characters could very well change over time, depending on how the anime develops. We will just have to wait and see, and there is no reason to become rude or disrespectful to one another. With how understanding, fair and compassionate Carlie & Ange typically are when it comes to a lot of the different perspectives/philosophies within this anime, there's no doubt that they will be able to continue that pattern.

Yeah they attacked first in this specific battle, but who started the entire thing? The King left with the entire almost Eldian population, and yet Marley attacked them years later, unprovoked. Finally going on the offensive doesn't make Eren & his friends the aggressors or "attackers". You have to be a complete pacifist to believe that.

The Nazi's at the end of WW2 were also "defending". But who started all the aggression in the first place? They did. So to say the were defending themselves, and the Western Allies were the ones "attacking" is just silly.

My brother I'm not saying I'm with Gabi, there are no sides in this conflict. Gabi and Eren are the same. Being on Eren sides doesnt mean you hate Gabi and vice versa, its not a sides thing. And Gabi was preparing to fight paradise because paradise has the power to destroy all civilizations on the planet.

Damn, I remember when I first saw Sasha spare Gabi's life and I said out loud "That's gonna come back to bite her in the ass". I didn't expect it to be that bad tho!! O_O I was expecting someone else to die and Sasha having to deal with the guilt or something like that.
