To clarify about the 9 titans, the ones that weve seen so far are: the founding titan, attack titan, ymir/marcel titan, armored titan, female titan, beast titan, colossal titan and the duck titan.

I actually like the Attack Titan name, but a LOT of reactors use nicknames for the TItans. I've seen a few quirky ones, like monkey titan for the beast titan

Attack on Titan is one of the few shows where it's actually AMAZING on rewatch. I used to think season 1 was boring and too full of fillers, which I still kind of do, but there are so many scenes that make sense in hindsight. There are too many theories you guys mention and things in the show that we can't explain without spoiling, I really hope you guys go back and rewatch the show after you're done with season 4!

Is a bit bizarre, the anime name in english is "attack on titan", but is a wrong name, because the original name is SHINGEKI NO KYOJIN that means "attack titan" and not "attack on titan"! XD

"Attack on Titan" is the english subtitle of the manga on the [Vol.1 cover](https://i.stack.imgur.com/YIp8w.jpg). It's just a name that the japanese author (who doesn't speak english very well) thought sounded cool and that's why they kept it ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

But no matter who gave the name, it's incorrect because it doesn't match the primary name. In fact, his giving it that name only makes it clearer because it doesn't go down well and makes the "plot twist" less understood. For me and many weebs LOL, when eren says "shingeki no kyojin" it's a great moment, for that very reason.
