Only the top 10 of the class get to join the Military Police if they choose. Ymir gave up her spot because she wanted Christa to join the MP and be safe, that's why last episode Christa was saying that Ymir deserved it more than her

I originally made a comment about Ymir and a hint about her being a titan but decided to delete/edit because it could possibly be a spoiler. Ugh it's so hard not to spoil anything lol.

Good catch on Nanabas' death. I agree she must have been a victim of abuse and in those final moments her mind would have snapped and she was re-living a traumatic childhood experience. So brutal!!

Ymir patted Conny on the head BECAUSE HE'S A GOOD BOY! Also, the reason Reiner was being so sus was because he was just trying to protect Conny and keep his mind occupied with "the mission" to stop him from getting lost in everything happening, Same reason Ymir acts like such a bitch is to break the ice, They are both precious beans just trying to protect their friends in their own thick-headed way <3

This show is really good at making us seem dumb. Ymir was obviously up to something, but the first time I saw this episode, I had no clue. That's someting I love about this show: sometimes the obvious is in front of our eyes and we just don't see it.

In the discussion about getting to learn the other characters I agree completely it was so refreshing getting character developments from the group. I'm also hurt that they didn't mention Jean at all xD

To add on this, its the reason the main cast are better fighters than the scouts normally have because a bunch of them turned down the military police position to join the scouts on the back of Eren's speech. If I remember correctly in order (its shown on a mid clip blurb at one stage it went (Mikasa, Annie, Jean, Reiner, Bert, Ymir, Sasha, Eren, Connie, Christa, Armin) - I could be wrong but I think that's right. Gives a fair indicator of relevant skill in battle
