First of all GRATZ ON THE SPONSER!! Super happy for you guys :DD. And as for lore accurate couples, Ash and Tryndamere are one - but it's more of a political one than anything. Ezreal and Lux are kind've one? But Riot has never published anything with them together really. But still they say they are one. Same with Rumble and Tristana. Then there's Garen and Katarina, which have some spicy voice lines and such hinting at an interest in one another. But no actual official stuff. Same with Leona and Diana. And that's all I can think of.

congrats on the sponsor!Some lore dump: Noxus has been at war with Ionia for a very long time and during this invasion many Vastayans have been fighting to protect their tribes and land. This is also Xayah and Rakan's goal currently. Ionian land and nature is also heavily filled with magic, and Ionians strive to live in harmony with the nature and magic (Vastayans have a deep connection to the forests' magic), but the war with Noxus has destroyed a lot of land and disrupted a lot of the balance that was in place. The guy you saw with the mask is Zed, the leader of the Order of Shadows, a ninja clan he founded with the sole purpose of militarizing Ionia and fighting back Noxus. Zed essentially has the same goal as Xayah and Rakan but goes about it differently. In the video, Zed was harnessing magic from the nearby forest with the likely intention of weaponizing it in some way. He views the need for a "trade," sacrificing some of the land's magic in order to ultimately use it to protect Ionia as a whole. Xayah and Rakan on the other hand view Zed as a radical and disapprove of his extreme methods. Furthermore, there are actually two ninja clans, the Order of the Shadows and the Kinkou Order. These two are currently enemies. The Kinkou is the ninja clan which Zed was formerly apart of. Shen (another ninja champion) is the leader of the Kinkou, along with Kennen and formerly Akali. The goal of the Kinkou is to preserve the balance between the physical world and the spirit realm, without showing any bias or preference for either. This neutrality often means they stay out of external conflicts, such as the war with Noxus. Their refusal to lend their strength and fight back is what ultimately led to Zed's departure and his delving into the forbidden shadow magic, which is basically a form of corrupted magic that is fueled by intense emotion or hatred. This magic can also corrupt and kill the user that wields it and disrupt the balance within the spirit realm, which is why the Kinkou have conflict with them. Shen and Zed actually grew up and trained together under Shen's father, Master Kusho (the leader of the Kinkou at that time) and were as close as brothers. Eventually though a lot of serious shit happened between them, which involved Zed killing Kusho and basically waging war between their clans. There is actually a huge story arc between Zed, Shen and Jhin (the Ionian serial killer guy) and how Jhin traumatized the both of them, indirectly causing why Zed became what he is. Important thing to note is that neither are "heroes" or "villains," they each have their own seperate beliefs and ideals. They are both pretty badass characters though. On the other hand Jhin thinks murder is fun so he is less morally gray I'd say 😂 Sorry this is so long, there is so much juicy lore in this franchise lmao

First off you got it right in how to pronounce them the first time. Also I love playing rakan. I am actually a jg/sup main with 28 mastery 7 champion's. (The highest you can have with any champion) Rakan is one of my many mastery 7 he is a support champion while xayah is an adc, so they fight in the same lane together.

Don"t know about LoL, but in LoR they have some funny voice lines indicating that Ezrael has a crush on Lux indeed. Meanwhile it seems Zoe has a crush on Ezrael and is jealous on Lux. Nice teasing there😂😂. But as you said, I don't think that's canon or that they ever really met.🤷‍♂️

Another thing I forgot to mention just in case no one told you yet. The reason Rakan has that one skin different from Xayah is it was a worlds skin. When a team wins the championship they get a skin made in game for a champ they played a lot. So that year when IG won the sup played Rakan a lot so he got the skin. The adc played someone else but I forgot who it was.
