AoT Season 1 Wrap Up? (Patreon)

Hey everyone! We just wanted to express our gratitude to those who are helping to moderate our Attack on Titan comment sections. We thought we could show appreciation by doing a special video at the end of season 1 for our Patreon members. Would you be interested in hearing our thoughts at the end of the season? We would go through:

-Favourite character(s) so far
-Favourite Episode(s)
-Season 2 predictions

and more.

We were going to wait until we're up to date to do one of these videos but maybe we could do one at the end of every season as bonus content for the support you have shown the channel!

I would love to see a season recap on your thoughts and expectations before going into season 2! And recaps with the seasons ahead. I think there is so much going on within each season that it would be great to hear your favorite arc, character, best action scene, etc. during that particular season since there is just so much content to cover.

I would like to suggest a toast to those who died in the season, and for fun you could argue over a tier list of the characters in the season. :) I'm sure whatever you produce will be entertaining though.

no spoiler afaik: Another good idea to help with the show would be to create a character recap summary video Things like personality traits that defines their ideal or goal or quirk or known history. For example, Sasha is a potato girl, very high instincts, is obsessed with food, < blah blah> Mikasa Ackerman, had her ackerman dad and asian mother killed early and eren saved her and kept telling her to fight and she fought for him and has been protecting eren since and absolutely OP with the titan killing skills. Eren obsessed with freedom. Jean wants the cozy life inside but Marco's death triggered a sense of responsibility and leadership and specifically affected him and a few the most and moved his arc from being an annoying MP like the others, to being a scout. etc. Erwin, Levi etc... Basically any character that caught your attention or think you've worked out their "personality" or "goal" or defining trait ? Write it down and discuss it, because a lot of the show is purely reliant on character growth and arcs, and you'll feel the weight of every episode when you know what defines a character. PS: i'm just giving examples of what you've already recapped in previous episodes, so that the patreons don't think i'm spoiling anything.

If you didn’t watch the openings yet you could do it in the wrap up… I think it could be fun for you to go through all the theories you’ve had so far, look at what ones didn’t work out (skeletal titan) and what ones you reckon still have merit.

Sounds good. You can also consider including characters recap in your favourite character discussion because AoT has soooooo many characters. So it might be a great idea to list as many names as possible and do a quick recap on each of them. This would be helpful for your maximum viewing experience. As the show progresses, you'll see more highlights on these minor characters, and most of them play vital role to the story and development of other characters. Too many reactors forget about these minor characters and are left confused with what's happening in newer seasons. And that is not a surprise considering most of them are watching multiple shows at a time, and it's hard to keep track of the names. Regular viewers who only watch one show at a time (mono-binge) have better memory retention of these characters.
