btw you guys didn't notice but Carlie was right in the last episodes, when the judge said Eren tried to kill Mikasa, she did try to hide her 'scar' on her face. It's the ONLY wound she has on her after the whole Trost fight, and she instinctively covered it to protect Eren at the trial. So in a way the mikasa scar theory had it's own conclusion haha

Also, in my opinion the conflict between the Scouts, Military Police and Stationary Guard you guys had it spot on and it is as simple as: different ideologies, you can even tell in their logos. The Military Police and Stationary Police both have their logos design with the prominent elements been "front" or "inside". While the Scouts have the "wings of freedom" element in the "back" or "outside". So it's the clash between either we turtle up and that's how humanity survives or we risk it all and go outside to obtain our own freedom, which side will get more reasources? which side is wasting them? The second these groups start to point fingers, none of them would dare to back down or point it at themselves.

The military police knew of eren and mikasa killing the kidnapped because after dr yaeger whose first name is grisha by the way if you don’t know. Grisha went and contacted the military police while eren snuck away to find and save mikasa. When grisha arrived at the place with the military police he scolded eren and took mikasa in to join their family. The military police would have kept a record of that incident and commander Nile who is the man wanting to execute eren brought that report to the courthouse. Nile is the third and final commander you will meet of the three regiments

That steam is definitely something and not just for stylization. If you go back to episode 3 after Eren Hits his head while In ODM training and has his head bandaged up in the next scene you can see a little foreshadowing. It could come off as a artistic choice since that is before we know about Him transforming, but like you said no detail like that is just for show.

I think is better to watch it after season ends since it does contain a bit of spoilers and foreshadowing of what is happening during that season. Anyway you should watch it after you're done with it because openings are 🔥 🔥
