I'm late to the party on Patreon! Joined up after this eps posted to YouTube. Just wanted to say that ya'll have great input and it's great watching you get through this show. Excited for the finale for y'all, and I look forward to seeing what ya'll might think of the LoL cinematics if you guys plan to do reactions on them. I appreciate this show having been a League player since the get go, but watching reactors new to the franchise getting wrapped up in this lore is entirely something else and it's amazing. As an aside, if no one's mentioned it already, please don't play the base game - it got a terribly high skill floor and the community is just downright nasty to new players. Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runterra (and Ive even heard Ruined King is good) are League-related games that might be worthwhile though. Ya'll may very well enjoy the lore tidbits and random shenanigans LoL has been through. The constant retcons have been tricky to follow but I think the lore is more or less stamped out now. Thanks for the nerding out this episode, please don't stop! Looking forward to your next nerd out sessions!

Thanks so much! We definitely wont play then haha! Maybe we can just watch people play it or something 😅 and yeah we definitely want to learn more about the lore so we have plenty of Arcane and League videos on the way!

Basically long story short, he saw himself in her in Ep 3, a young person who was betrayed/left by their sibling. So he didnt have the heart to kill her and took her under his wing. Jump 6 years later, she's a ruthless mentally disturbed teenager who has been under his wing. He's grown to love her, but really can't control her, and despite thinking his motivations and morals make her strong, he's inherently a bad influence to her. BUT, he still does love her as a daughter, in his own way. And he's basically all she has in her life. She's too deranged really to have any other friends. TLDR: Toxic father/daughter relationship. Where they both can only relate to each other.
