The App-Date.... (haha get it!? ha.. haha..) (Patreon)

Ok, I haven't eaten anything so bear with me. :P

Just a quick update on The App.

As you know, I've been basically writing a ton of versions to continue my first story, and binned everything I came up with. No longer sure how I wanted this story to go on, or even if it should, sometimes.

Because piracy attacked me pretty hard last year, I fell into a depression that made me want to stop working on this, and I ended up making many new stories and even partial games just to cope with the frustration and the anger at these leeches that don't have any skill in this life other than reposting a download and masturbating.

But now I feel I must go on...

I reached a point where my work is probably as safe as it'll ever be, and I intend to continue my first story with all the skills I have obtained during the past two years, from average render packed with glitches to some nearly real looking images.

I'm working on The App 5.2 these days. I have BIG ideas coming in, and I intend to also work on my skills as a "film maker" even if I use static renders and 2.5 dimensional animation, which takes a LOT of skill and creativity and is in no way inferior to 3D (having done both, I think it's actually harder).

Also...

I'm becoming more and more fond of the "audionarrated/voiced" method of presentation. Not only it means comics can't be stolen (they're not "comics" anymore), but they seem to help me convey the story better, with more emotion, more involving effects that can capture the viewer like movies do. Same concept.

AND.... it allows me to experiment with more animated sequences, which is something I love and am passionate about.

Oh! And I just managed to RE-upgrade my audio-editing software, so there'll be something really catchy coming up in the next few chapters... not sure if in the next one yet, but in the (foreseeable) third chapter of The App from now, where I'll take things up a notch, either visually and auditor.. ial.. ly.. (ly?)... SOUND WISE. Whatever. You'll see. ..or.. hear... (damn I'm hungry! XD).
