From the diary of Ant-rider, travelling ninja:

"Ninjas were truly remarkable in many areas of science. Put them in a desert and give them only a rope and a piece of fabric, and they'll fashion a device to traverse air currents sparing themselves days of walking.

Some were even said to be able to manipulate the air currents, to a degree, setting a quicker cruising course toward their destination, beating anyone to it in time and efficiency.

Not to mention that coupled with their size changing skills, they would navigate the sky much like a modern balloon, shrinking to go higher, and regaining mass to lower altitude and descend safely.

The only downside of this innovation was that... some minor accidents still happened. Sudden distraction and releasing of the device when flying over a great chasm in the hills, perhaps, or a giant swatting hand coming for that floating, unknown insect.

Still, to be able to come up with and use such inventions was something to behold."
