Ok so interesting story, i'm Australian and one of my Aunties is American, and about 3 years ago I found out that she has been best friends since childhood with the VA of Spinel (Sarah Stiles) I was so excited when I found out that she was best friends with someone from my favourite show. I asked her when I go to New york which is where they live, if she could sign my Steven universe arts and origins book and she said yes and that I could meet her. i'm so excited to go over!!! Also another interesting thing that happened was when I went to my Aunties wedding back in 2016 she was there too and I didn't even know lol

Yippee!!! It’s been really so great to go on this journey with you guys :) I’ve probably said it before but one of my favorite things to do with shows is introduce them to others to see how they react and what all their thoughts are, but all my friends and partners were watching the show and such with me as it aired. As such I haven’t really gotten to introduce SU to them cause they were in it from the jump! Watching creators like you guys discover the show and it’s characters has been such a fun outlet to me. Seeing people discover the things you’ve been passionate about is a blast (obviously y’all know this considering you CREATE the videos but hehe.) point is this was so much fun and I just love to see it. Regarding the movie itself, y’all called the system reboot with the gems! The song that pearl sings introducing the different gems is officially titled system/BOOT.PearlFinal (3).info !!! I hated getting spoiled back in the day obviously but the album titles ended up being leaked before the movie officially aired and I was eating that title UP. Another thing to take note of with pearl is her reboot design is the same as it was in the pink Diamond flashbacks, which shows to me that pink also chose the default setting. I just thought it was interesting, given we did also see flashbacks during the Homeworld eps of her with that other pearl!! When they regain their memories you also are able to see the silhouettes of all their previous forms. spinel still has me sad as all hell. Please girl go to therapy 😭 I can’t imagine being abandoned somewhere and having to watch the world decay and calcify around me to the point where I can’t move. She was justified in all her actions in the movie imo. Like she shouldn’t have hurt others but I Understand. Her ending up with the diamonds made me super happy. I just know they’re spoiling the hell out of her. This thought is silly but have y’all noticed how emotive Yellow is? She seems so dry but I feel like she has a very silly center. Spinel did one (1) moderately funny thing in front of her and she was cackling and slapping her knee. Goofy ass ex dictator mom. Can’t wait to see future from you guys! You’re really gonna like the opening ;)
