Totally my favorite part in the series. Not sure if you'll understand the reference but this show is like final fantasy 7 remake. Some parts changed some are the same but overall it is a great story told very well and it's completely different while still being the same at heart.

I think thats the best way to do an adaptation like this. Change enough that its fresh and interesting, but keep the major beats the same. It really feels like they understood the assignment with making this show. A lot of care was put into it, and that's felt in the final product.
