I agree that it's a stronger episode. This one was actually originally written as the first episode, but then they felt that a lot of background on the characters and their relationships to each other (Bojack's career history, his dual relationship with Princess Carolyn, why Todd lives with him, how Diane came to be his memoirist, the whole Mr Peanutbutter thing, etc.) hadn't been adequately established, so they wrote the previous episode to info dump all that stuff. I find that knowing that bit of trivia makes it very obvious, on rewatch, the extent to which Episode 1 is just frantically dumping, dumping, dumping information at you. The writing in this episode is more fluid and organic, as well as funnier IMO.

This one is a 7/10. The show only gets better! Half of the total episodes are 10/10. It's amazing how much groundwork is being laid for jokes and plot points that pay off later in really satisfying ways.
