I’m confused as to what’s the difference betweeen having the old episodes and the new ones on discord in that same format.

why does the discord solution not work for new episodes? you mentioned channels getting suspended for trying that, but how?

Many accounts of creators have attempted this in recent days to consistently update with new episodes and somehow or another (likely through link sharing/leaking groups) the software adopted by Viz has flagged these and as a result suspended accounts and Discord servers, including our own and have even told us they will strike on YT until this is stopped. This has been confirmed as they have literally given myself 57 strikes for this and even forced me to edit out the hidden leaf symbol in my own fan made profile image. Trust us, we've been in contact with all parties involved, including the largest anime reaction channels and this is not something we're able to attempt nor risk what we've built for a single series, despite how much we love it.

Such a shame and so foolishly shortsighted of the copyright holders. You and many other reactors have put so much effort into entertaining subscribers and I'm sorry to hear this has basically hamstrung everyone. Helluva Boss wasn't mentioned, presumably it's still fine? Are you still reacting to it?
