Episode 11 is not bad, it's just that for Avatar standards falls a little short. It's the only truly "filler" episode the show has and it was used by the TV channels in that time a lot, so you would see that episode on TV again and again, making a lot of people hate the episode because tv channels exploited it, since it's an episode that can be seen with barely even context. Definitely not a bad episode, but you don't lose anything from not watching it aside from a little character development from the main crew.

Zuko literally did nothing wrong. People treat him like he's in the wrong for being a good person and standing up for what's right. Ozai challenging his own son to a duel, and hurting him, for having basic human decency... If I was in the Fire Nation, witnessing that duel, all it would do is make me lose all respect for Ozai, if I had any to begin with. I would see him as an evil scumbag, not a leader to follow or respect.
